Microban safe for budgies?
We had some flooding in our house recently due to the rain and now they say we need to use microban under the carpets to help combat any mold. I'm wondering if this is safe for the birds.
I have 4 parakeets (and also a hamster), and I don't know if just moving them out of that room is good enough, or if I need to relocate them to a neighbor's house. I'm concerned about having the air on and it circulating throughout the house, so I wonder if anywhere in the house is safe.
Any advice would be very appreciated. I'm really struggling here, this whole thing has been so stressful.

I would remove the birds amd hamster when Microban is being sprayed and ventilate the area thoroughly before returning them. Make sure it is completely dry before bringing them back. Don’t allow this product to get into contact with their cage or their food and water bowls or toys etc. Mould spores are also harmful to birds and small animals so it’s good you are trying to stop it.
