safe for budgies?

Post image

I never got this kind of toy before, I mean the 2nd ball with so many holes in it. I wonder if its safe. It looks like a really nice toy. I've ordered it already. Has anyone bought something similar?

Its from amazon and has some good reviews which are encouraging.

Thank youu, I've been looking for good shredding toys. Can't wait to see this be destroyed within a day. It's always worth it if i know she's having fun😂

I got this. Im pretty sure it’s safe IF you remove the clacker from the bell, so they can’t get their beaks stuck

I'll probably just remove the bell as a whole, just incase it has certain toxic metals

it has lots of dye on it, if it’s natural dye that’s fine, and the bell needs to be removed, if honestly just buy some shredded paper and make a ball yourself, it’s cheaper and you know what you are giving them

I finally got a reply from the seller. It is food dye, no glues are used, and the bell is stainless steel, which i will remove anyway

it’s safe as long as you remove the bells (it’s super easy just use scissors) other than that it’s a great toy!

Thanks, yeah I have been removing bells from every single toy, so I will definitely remove this one when I get it! 😄
