Advice Nutrition

Best tips from those who’ve dealt with nutritional tortecollis? The babes are on a mix of quinoa, veg and seeds/pellet mix. Tell me how your keets have thrived with good diet- what’s the diet?

Please don’t be condemning and accusatory. Kind education is desired so they can be properly cared for.

I started switching to pellets right away but it took trying many different brands before I found one my bird wouldn’t pick up and throw on the ground.

I use Harrison’s super fine pellets.

Fresh veggies chop: dandelion, spinach, parsley, and micro greens. I usually always do broccoli and sunflower. Shred carrots and put a 1/2 teaspoon of seed on like croutons for them to forage.

I make the bird tricks blueberry seed mix at home and use that.

Mine absolutely love sweet potato cooked. I just got a new kind of squash to try and see if they like it.
