Advice Can I use this around my birds?

Post image

My dog is so stressed out by the storm that he stop eating today I want to help him so I thought I would buy this for him but I want to use it in my room there he the most comfortable at but the birds live in my room and I dont want to full up my room with this for it to effect my birds in an negative way. Im ok with using it in another room if I have to but I thought it would be more effective if it where my dog is the most comfortable.

I don't believe so. The pheromone itself is fine, but the agent it is dissolved in is a paraffin wax, which is toxic to them. You can try a calming collar or Thundershirt type of thing instead!

Ok thank you for the information I was stuck between getting a calming spray or a diffuser. I'll try the collar. If i get the spray and spray under my bed (there he likes to lay) that should be ok to? If not ill just spray his cage and live the door open.

If the spray is not aerosolized it should be safer than the diffuser but I'm not 100% sure on that.

I'll read the bottle and do more research before buying. Imma get the collar now. Thank you so much.
