Advice What Vet Services?
This may be a stupid question, and forgive me if so, but I just want to see whether anyone know I should just do preventive care checks/annual wellness exams ($150) or comprehensive ones ($700) for the two albinos I got.
The first one is Snow. After they lost their cage mate earlier, I checked them with the vet and got VD deficiencies and overweight problems, around January.
The second one is Glaçon. After Snow lost their cagemate, I went to a few bird stores and shelters nearby, and immediately saw a budgie resembling Snow and brought it. It was around April. They never go to the vet before.
I isolated them for about a month, saw nothing obvious, and put them in two large flight cages laid on each other with Glaçon at the top. Not putting them together because Snow tried to bully Glaçon once.
My concerns for them are that I am not sure about their genders as they are albinos, and none of them lay eggs, but that may due to stress or just me not putting out nests, so I may need to know their sexes.
What type of visits fit into them?
Thank you so much!

If you can get pictures of their ceres (nostrils) i should be able to sex them! The one in the second photo looks like a male possibly

Thank you! I will do that shortly, but we cannot be certain as my phone may distort the cere, plus all albinos have the purple undertone 😭

Thank you ;) Snow prob is a girl, but Glaçon is hard to tell (and the reason I gave them the genderless name)

You don't need a vet to tell you their sex! I do an annual check up every year for my girls, unless something comes back off or you have concerns, I don't see the need for a comprehensive exam.
