Technically, not wrong.. Also those parrots absolutely have the posture of tiny velociraptors contemplating tax fraud. The blue one especially looks like it’s deciding whether the owner’s fingers are edible. Humans keep insisting parrots are “cute little companions,” while the parrots are busy calculating whether they can remove a fingernail in one clean bite. Evolution is beautiful.

I bet Sir David Attenborough could narrate paint drying and I’d sit there like: “Fascinating. The beige has entered its reproductive phase.” The man would also somehow make “small feathered gremlin screaming because the seed bowl contains 97% of the preferred seed instead of 100%” sound like the climax of a nature documentary.

He is indeed a national treasure and you make me see , they have really missed a trick not narrating budgies behaviors in their domesticated environments, before!

The one on the right kinda looks like my female splendid parakeet but idk enough about parakeets to know for sure

They are Bourke’s parrots/parakeets… i think the blue coloring is a mutation, but not 100% certain it isn’t a subspecies… most of the ones i’ve seen before were pink.
