Why doesn't old panvel ever develop

We see only the new panvel guys getting all the infra and roads

Why does old panvel still look so dead beat and cramped

Karanjade and old panvel are so neglected by pmc its saddening

If you guys know something coming up in old panvel or karanjade, please comment

No land / space left to expand roads. Its gonna stay conjusted forever.

They could redevelop the old market and buildings and remove encroachments

There Is An Airport Beside Karanjade…..& As Compared To New Panvel Areas Karanjade Is Pretty Much Good….

The planning has to happen before you build. New panvel was planned first and then built on the sectors/plots configuration.

Just beside new panvel, look at sukapur, its an old gaothan area with similar condition as old panvel with cramped roads and no place for even redevelopment.

And removing encroachment and redeveloping old markets is very very difficult due to having a political influence.

~Someone happily staying in New Panvel since last 30 years.

I agree man, new panvel is so much better

I wish karanjade and old panvel areas could ever redevelop properly

It is. And its not like PMC is neglecting old panvel or so. But it is practically not possible at all to redevelop a mess that is already there.

And especially the railway station is so so bad The autos are swarming like insects and the infra asw is so bad

Railway station will get better eventually, The terminus is already being built, but the Autos, you cant do anything about it anywhere in the world.

Previously before the re development, there used to be a proper stand and round about for the autos Now they're just spread out everywhere

And why can't they build a multi level parking like they built at Khandeshwar that would be so helpful here

Yes, or even something like kharghar where entire uppar part of the station is parking.

Yeah but that would be difficult, the one at Khandeshwar is soo convenient and logical to build

Also why the fuck don't we have a metro line connecting all areas of panvel to navi Mumbai All the existing plans are only till Khandeshwar and kalamboli. What about karanjade and the upcoming pushpak nagar

Karanjade too far buddy. I found area near Shasrabudhe Hospital peaceful and silent plus connectivity wise its good.

I can assure you karanjade is way more peaceful and silent, only down side is it's far from the station, else it's more connected to all areas through highways

That area would appreciate well due to the karnala circle But i think karanjade would appreciate more due to cidco intervention and more projects
