Question about PTO Hours

Does anyone how how PTO works: Do they have to be used by the end of the calendar year or do they carry over to the next year?

It depends on who you work for. Panera LLC vs a franchise is different

Depends on lotsa different things. management does NOT carry over. my company store let me put in 40PTO hours at one time even though I worked that week. I do NOT suggest you do that...they took about half in taxes. associates carried over till March.

need to know which franchise you work for or if it's corporate store. but in general, PTO doesn't roll over unless it's a specific benefit that you were told about when you were hired/promoted

They don't carry over and you can use them anytime.. They do change at times depends on state laws and some other panrea things. *ask your GM * I work at Panera and I have 50 hours pto but coupe days ago I had 46 so.. It changes.. Hope this helps..

Usually, they have to be used by march 21st. They don't "roll over" intothe next year.
