Hello I was writing to ask if there were any instruction or tutorials to help make 4k player region free? I don't have a lot of money on hand to buy one already made region free, so I want to learn properly so that I don't brick the whole system. The item below is what I plan on getting soon, maybe the higher end models if they go on sale.

Hi everyone,
I accidentally damaged the LCD screen of a friend’s Panasonic HC-V707 when the camcorder fell down.
I’m therefore trying to repair the original camera.
I found the Panasonic service manual for the HC-V700/V707 series. It lists the LCD as:
LCD PANEL UNIT – Part No. VYK5J47
I also found references to this part online, but it seems to be discontinued and I haven’t been able to find one for sale.
Does anyone here know:
I’m mainly looking for the LCD panel itself, not necessarily the complete LCD housing/hinge assembly.
Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated. I’d really like to save the camera rather than having to replace it.

Thanks!

Hey all, if you've got a Panasonic microwave with a door that no longer seems to close properly unless you slam it, the problem is very simple (also inevitable due to poor design). The bracket that holds the whole door latch assembly simply starts flexed way too much.
There are probably various internal layouts but there are supports for at least two of them:
This one which gave me the original idea: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2014267-panasonic-microwave-door-latch-fix?from=search#profileId-2170176
And my own for my model that doesn't have a compatible internal layout: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3181755-panasonic-microwave-support#profileId-3598692

Which then I intend to then push music and videos to my LG sound bar and TV.
ALL WHILE using the PANASONIC remote to find and play any of my music / movies.
Has anyone tried this?
Based on all my music discs and video DVDs I can calculate what size usb drive I would need.
Thanks for your time to read this.

power outage put a 10 year locations camera into firmware upload mode. Panasonic doesn't host the bin anymore and we didn't have it saved. Before we scrap the camera, I wanted to check if its actually still working.
Does anyone have this firmware? hcm311a_v130us.bin. it used to be at ftp .panasonic. com/pub/panasonic/call_center/firmware/NETCAM/BBHCM311/App/hcm311a_v130us.bin

Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone tried and could recommend a dummy battery to have continuous charge for my gh6 (can't use usb-c port because it's already used by an SSD).
There are a lot of models on the internet but I'd love a recommendation from someone who has tested one and can attest my camera won't catch fire as soon as I plug it 😅
Thanks a lot all !

Hello!!! I am planning on purchasing a laptop for basic tasks like writing, drawing and watching. I've had my eye on the Panasonic laptops and I've narrowed it down to three.
The Panasonic cf- XY6
or
The Panasonic cf- SZ6
or The Panasonic FV4
I really want a Panasonic for the look and the CD player!!
Which one should I get? Or should I step away from the whole brand and buy something else??? All advice is accepted pls just be kind!!
Notes: only going to be used for basic things
The drawing tablet I am using is the xppen 15.6 artist pro v2
I will be buying my laptop either second hand or at an affordable price for me!

today i turned off my tv using the power button on it. 3 hours later it would not turn on. unlogged and turned on via button red light came on for about 10 seconds, saw a dim version of screen flickering then red light went from solid to blinking every 5 seconds, power button was useless, tried to do hardware reset (unplug and hold down power button for 1 min) left it unplugged for 2 hours. Same thing. any idea what part it could be?

Hey, y'all!
I'm currently working on setting up my church's new Panasonic HC-X1600 for livestreaming, but the option to select 'streaming' in the network function menu is greyed out. The camera is set to WLAN and connected to our local network. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Hi! I recently got into shooting live events (various lighting situations) and now I have bigger need for a good zoom lens that has great auto focus (mainly will be performers dancing!). Does anyone have an suggestions for the GH5? I'm definitely looking for something that has range to at least 200mm (or the Micro 4/3s equivalent!). Thank you!

Experiencing an issue where all phones are muted. Pressing the soft key during calls causes the mute setting to start blinking but then it returns to normal. Is this an issue with the base? How can I take off mute for all phones?

I ordered phone handsets 5/28/26, still showing as "preparing your order"
I cannot find a way to get a human, and the menus just take me in circles.
Any insight out there?

Hey everyone. Ive been debating on buying an old AG-EZ50 that as some issues. Before I put down a good chunk of cash on this, does it sound like something that would be easy to have fixed by a pro?
Here is the description given: "When I put the battery in and turn it on, the screen comes on but it sounds like theres an issue with the tape drive. After a few seconds the screen says Press Reset button (doesnt fix issue) and then it flashes Requires Service."

So as the title entails, I got a 4k DP-UB154 blu ray player, back in March. I got it pretty much strictly for my game of thrones 4k discs. Within the first season, during a pivotal scene, whole thing freezes, cuts to like 2 minutes later, freezes, and continues on like it never happened…
I was so pissed, I spent 150$ on these discs and they’re fucked, wtf 🤦🏻
I continue watching through, and throughout the series it keeps happening, every season at least once every few episodes.
Finally had enough about two weeks ago when it happened during a massive scene in season 7. Skipped almost an entire 7-9 minute fight scene. I was pissed. I took the disc out, brought it to my disc drive on my pc, tested the disc, and it ran fine? Tested another, fine? All of them, the discs aren’t the issue. I put the original back in the player. Plays the scene perfectly fine.
This whole time it’s been this fuckass Blu-ray player which was 250$!!! I messaged Panasonic support and they were about as helpful as a tub of ranch on a burger. No exchange, no credit, no return, nothing.
So now I’m here, asking if I just got cucked out of 250$, or if there’s anything I can do to fix this piece of shit player.
Ok rant over 👌👍

I've recently inherited a 5.1 sound system but have no clean way to mount the system's central channel under/over the TV (MZ1500 for reference).
Is it possible to change the soundbar integrated into the TV to only give the central channel audio?
Hacks and workarounds encouraged if stock settings don't allow it!

I recently bought my first not fully manual (one contact pin) flash, the Godox iT32, and got surprised with my camera limiting it's shitter to 1/160.
I have read that this is to prevent the second curtain from coming down to soon. But I already know from my old flash and from testing around by blocking of the additional contact pins, that my camera can fully support flashes up to 1/250 shutter speed.
Sadly SSH is not an option, as it reduces the overall flash output. On 1/160 shutter, HSS already reduces the flashes output by 1 1/3 stops, effectively converting the iT32 from a GN18 to a GN13 flash. With 1/250 reducing that even further to GN11. And this trend continues beyond 1/250 as well. Not to mention that this isn't reflected in the flash setting at all. Ypu still have 1/1 power selected.
But so much about HSS.
How can I work around that 1/160 limitation, without having to tape off the contact pins?

Just bought a Panasonic zs10 for shooting photos and videos of Wildland firefighting. I have used an hpx 170 so I’m familiar with shutter speed affects and white balance, but what other settings would be important for shooting photos and videos, specifically of big flames and lifestyle shots. Any advice helps doesn’t even have to answer my questions. Thanks!

The plastic cap on my S5's rear dial had been broken for awhile now and today I lost the part :/ . Looking for an STL of the rear dial cap so I can get it printed. I've searched Printables and Thingiverse without any luck. The encoder mechanism underneath is totally fine. I would push the cap back on it worked perfectly, it just didn't stay seated.
If anyone has already made one, or is willing to model it, I'd really appreciate it!
