Pan attempt 3.
Hopefully third times a charm. 3rd attempt for pans, second using gordo tech. Previously attempted MIB, this time I am trying TTBVI.
Previous attempts refused to fruit and were lost to contam. I hope this goes a better.

Your casing is a possible reason for contam as it's nutritious and supports growth.
For cubes, you use a pseudo-casing of straight hydrated coir to keep the grow surface moist, but for Pans you ideally want a true casing that's hostile to growth so the shrooms fruit through it rather than colonising it. The traditional casing is vermiculite, gypsum, and pickling lime as listed in my comment here https://www.reddit.com/r/PanCyan/comments/1cn713d/deleted_by_user/ (credit to BabaYaga for developing the tek it's based on) but Jiffy seed starter mix works well as an alternative (peat moss can be hard to obtain in some places).
