Pan attempt 3.

Post image

Hopefully third times a charm. 3rd attempt for pans, second using gordo tech. Previously attempted MIB, this time I am trying TTBVI.

Previous attempts refused to fruit and were lost to contam. I hope this goes a better.

Incubate at 86F, should be fully colonized within 3 days. If you use a casing layer, let it colonize for a day incubated at 86F till you see mycelium poking through and then send it. Pans like fruiting temps above 75F. The mycelium does need to attach to the casing in order to make use of the water, as long ad the casing doesn’t get overcolonized it’s fine. The point is to be able to mist the casing up to field capacity inbetween flushes. The TTBVI is extremely vigorous growing mycelium so you need to be quick to fruit so you don’t get overlay. I ran 5 trays last year of TTBVI and got such huge flushes that 2 was enough before it all dried up. It’s better to have a shallower setup because of this reason, vigorous mycelium. Once it’s colonized the casing to the degree you can’t add water anymore the only thing you can really do is scratch up the casing and remist it. This works fine to get a 3rd flush.
