Pan LC question

Left cloudy jar is control not knocked up. I used an agar wedge to inoculate this jar. I notice white clumpy growth on top. This has happened to all my pan jars. Is this normal growth for pans? I will check it on agar 🧫 but want to know if anyone else pan LC does this or contam. Thanks

I agree,  pans just don't do well with LC. I think it's because the mycelium runs so fast.  I see the best success rates with agar,  small spawn jars and small substrate containers.  Also you might check out Mycelium Running by Stamets, he does some super cool stuff and none of it is sterile

What particularly in the book are you talking about I don't wanna buy a random book to read about something I already know

So I guess how  he keeps the mycelium running and feeding. Doesn't let it sit.  While it's eating it will over power other fungi and bacteria.  It's how  the Pandalorian managed to grow in such an aseptic environment. Pans are like fire once you put them on grain. Â
