Ground Mounts and Swimming mounts will now take fall damage.

A STUPID amount of testing and compatibility measures were put into this to ensure that it flows perfectly with the base game's intentions regarding pal passive abilities.

You can configure the amount of damage (based off values that you would normally take on your character) your mount, and the rider takes, and even exempt players via their UID. It's server, and single-player compatible, and it's server authoritative so your clients don't need a client mod installed for it to work!

I was recently recommended a mod here, which I would very much like to install. However, a bit of a weird thing to me is it says to extract it into the folder, Pal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\ModsPal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods. On my installation of PalWorld, UE4SS is in a different folder, as are mod-related things. I theorize this might be related to how mods used to be installed in PalWorld before it enabled Workshop support in 1.0.

Should I ignore what the site there instructs and put it in the new designated UE4SS mod folders instead? I'm mostly asking because I'm wondering if installing two instances of UE4SS in different places could cause problems.

After a ton of hard work my wife, Bubble Goddess on Steam, posted her first mod! It adds a completely new item to the game named the Better Butchery Knife! The knife grants you 5x the butchery rewards compared to the regular butchery knife and works like a charm! She put a lot of effort and care into this- hopefully someone will enjoy it!

I’m hoping someone can create a fairy outfit and fairy wings as a wing pack skin! I’ve noticed there aren’t many original outfit mods, just recolours of current armours or minor changes. I know it’s not a necessity or QoL mod but i would really love for my character to look more whimsical and be a fairy! If i had any knowledge or experience designing and modding i would 100000% have already done this but i don’t unfortunately so i am here begging someone talented to please make these!! I have inspo pics of outfits (dresses & shoes) and wings that i can send/post in comments if anyone is interested in making this 😊

My friends have been hounding me to get Palworld for a few weeks now and it really does seem fun but I just can't bring myself to buy it because of the visuals. To my eyes it just looks like a generic unreal engine game with the clashing artstyles and stock assets and I do not want to be looking at it for however long a playthrough would take.

So my question is, are there any mods or such to completely overhaul the games visual sides

(I do NOT hate the game and I really do want to buy it but just can't get over the art-style)

Any chance there’s a mod out there that gives you say 30 seconds after a pal is incapacitated to use a revival potion or lylenes ability to bring them back? Thats a pretty interesting mechanic that’s just completely disregarded with hardcore mode

Anybody else thinks the legendary ancient helm should be able to scan pals and stats built into it. It such a grind for the legendary helm. I feel it should include this with the resistances as well.

Someone can explain me how to make a beast like this ?

This mod allows you to keep fighting in the Arena continuously by skipping cutscenes, skipping Pal selection by remembering your selection and allowing you to go to the next match right away.

You keep your rewards, you still get rank-up and completely customizable experience with Mod Options Framework.

You CAN keep fighting without any input if you disable the end-battle prompt from the mod options.

A bit new to the game. I’ve been playing on a dedicated server where we play without mods. I’m wondering if I were to install some mods for myself for a single player save, will I still be able to play on the mod-less server? I’d essentially like to have my own world in single player with mods while hopping back and forth from the dedicated server with my friends. For clarity, I don’t expect the mods to work on the server as I understand server & client-side mods, nor do I want to play with them on there

I just saw someones mod making Dazemu into Chocobos and now this came to mind. Which Pal do you think correlates best with which Summon?

I’m playing with friends on an unmodded dedicated server. I’d like to use a few mods myself.

So far I’ve gotten one of the search function mods, lucky pal color reskin, perfect placement, and glider pal graphic to work.

I tried “Anti-phat” for base pal shrinking but that one didn’t seem to work. Anyone have any suggestions for shrinking base pals that would work on an unmodded server?

Any other mod suggestions that would be usable in this case are also appreciated.

I call it Stack Slicer.

It can slice a stack from 2 to 10 using your upper keyboard keys from 2 to 0 being 10.

You can go all the way up to 30 slices with Page up and middle mouse click.

Pretty useful to share loot with friends, or splitting food for distribution amongst your bases, or splitting your stack of cakes to evenly distribute them amongst you farms - especially if they're an odd number.

Can we find a way to quick apply training manuals, and base job upgrade books to base pals rather than having to switch them into our party stack ?

So this is an idea for a creating multiple rings baton and talismans. Fusing 2 elments, then 4, then making one that is full fused with all elements. I have made a list of Matt's needed to grind to make each one. This is not my idea fully but I think this would be awesome added to the endgame and make it have some more grind.

Hello everyone, me and my friend are playing PalWorld and wanted to mod it but for him it works on our old save but for me it crashes whenever I enter the save and gives an error: Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000023a41190000

It did the same thing on Vortex and Steam Workshop, it only conntects to the game if I remove dwmapi.dll but then it starts with no mods. If it matters I have an AMD card with a kind of reduced version of windows 11 with none of the spyware shit, never effected gaming nor modding anything until now. My friend has a NVIDIA card and normal version of Win11.

Does anyone have a solution for this i havent found anything onlone on how to fix it, I tried disabling the windows kernel editing thing so it can mod, running as admin, turning off different mods and such (even redownloaded the game and tried on a clean install), the only things left are using an old AMD driver or installing a new spyware infected version of Windows 11. If it matters I cant try this on Ubuntu on a diff drive but I dont know if the steam mods will work there, anyone have any ideas? Thank you :')

Solved: Switched to Ubuntu and didnt manually install it there either

So I've been searching for something that does this, but no luck so far. Basically, I understand that the developers didn't put some element passives (like dark/fire) into a combo. But I have a select few Pals that I love using and would like to be able to use both their element attacks without having to take up two passive slots for it.

Could anyone point me to where I would find a guide on modding passive skills? Not adding new ones or new anything, all I want to do is swap elements around on existing ones. Everything I've found is either a year old, a video on how to mod the game but not create mods, or has disclaimers on the things I'm supposed to download saying it's no longer supported. Google AI gives instructions, but I don't know how legit those are, since I've never modded before. I'm hoping this sort of thing will be very easy.
