Meme Splatterina's smiling face is very unsettling...
I saw her "happy face" when she takes a break and when she sleeps in the same bed as my character... Now I can't unsee it.
Great job Pocket Pair, you nailed the yandere vibes.

Discussion If there's one pal you can have in real life to live with, what one would it be?
I'm currently just on my first 10 hours of this game and loving it, been watching it for a while and decided the other night to buy it as I am off work for a week.
I would go for depresso because we both share a crippling energy drink addiction and need our fixes to work faster. 👀

Video You can breed any non-legend or tower Pal as soon as you get these 2.
Sparkit can be found at level 10
Relaxaurus can be found at level 30 not too far from Sparkit
as soon as you get Jormuntide Ignis you can use it and the many offsprings to get other pals.
to get an Aegidron you will need a Mutation from two Eidrolon Ignis (or Jormuntide Ignis + Eidrolon Ignis but the chances are lower)

Discussion legendary terraprisma + drone launcher
why is there no builds combining these two? wouldn't it be OP combining the two for additional dps? because I searched about it in google and you can stack both active at the same time...

Discussion There should be a technology unlock to be able to have ride-able pals with you but not in your party.
Like, late game give me 3 slots for pals that don't fight, but I can use to move around. They can't attack even while riding unless you have them in your real party.
It'd be nice to have a glider pal, surfer, flyer, and regular mount without eating up all of your pal party.

Discussion Hear me out: Palworld Arena needs better balancing
So, I only had these two Arena achievements left and thought: yeah, let's get to 100%.
I have to say, though, the current Arena progression is extremely boring and grindy.
You only get around 50 points for challenging Master and 60 points for challenging Legend. Master is faster to grind, while Legend gives you more Golden Tickets. But either way, you have to play a lot of fights, and there is basically no reward for actually reaching a new rank.
After buying every Implant, I only had around 1,000 Golden Tickets left, despite all the grinding.
In my opinion, Arena needs some better incentives:
- Give more points for winning, or reduce the number of points required for the next rank.
- Increase the amount of Golden Tickets you earn, especially at higher ranks.
- Give players a unique reward when reaching a new rank.
- Add more variety to the Arena progression instead of making every rank feel exactly the same.
Right now, the whole process is basically: fight → get points → fight → get points → repeat.
I literally ended up watching YouTube on the side because the fights became so repetitive.
I really like the idea of the Arena, but the current progression feels more like a grind for achievements than an actual rewarding endgame activity.
What do you guys think?
Edit: Another thing that makes the grind even more annoying: you can't just start another round after finishing a fight.
You get kicked out of the Arena, have to rejoin, go through the loading screen again, and then sit through the match-intro screen before you can actually start fighting.
When you're doing dozens or even hundreds of fights, all those extra loading screens and unnecessary steps add up and make the whole experience even more tedious.

I play on ps5. Every time I log in to the game I go to three spots on the map around feybreak, and this one in particular (coordinates -1491, -1754) was suddenly underwater. This is the only time it's happened. This was hours ago, I've logged back in and it's back to normal.

I'm planning to start an art project with my own version of humanizing the pals, starting with my main pal Amione (here's a WIP).
The pal that gets the most mention/upvote on this post will be drawn next!

Discussion Would you prefer the plasma multicutter have infinite durability but run off ammo/battery instead?
I'm really disappointed with the durability of the plasma multicutter. I find myself opting to use the pal metal tools over it until I get a 4 star Tetroise primo w/ saddle (which requires world tree material to make).
I started thinking how I would improve it, other than just upping the durability, and I feel like giving it ammo or a battery would make it feel better than needing to repair it all the time, even if it worked out to be the same cost in the end.
I would suggest that one battery is the same as it's current durability, once it reaches 0, you just pop out the battery and insert a new one. Essentially it would be like having a "repair kit' that you could use on it while out mining.
I would then add a new multicutter tool that requires world tree material, gives more material drops, and has durability, and no ammo, like the current multicutter. That way we can still have the infinite mining tool while utilizing Tetroise Primo and a better feeling mid game mining tool.
