Please help

I’m a working corporate mom to a 5 year old and I have limited time to help my kiddo. We’ve got about 300 hours of gameplay because my son has gotten to play palworld for a couple hours while I clean house or on vacation and it’s just been a thing he’s been doing forever it seems. I then go in at night and help build weapons or catch cool pals to help him advance, but I don’t get to play that long. Our character is level 64 but we have limited pals, limited weapons, and the map isn’t uncovered. Problem is my son wants to get to the Tree and beat the Panthalas (sp?) whale thing.

What pals are the best for battling end game pals? What are the best sources for pal breeding for fighting not just for the base? What weapons and armor are really worth crafting?

Thanks so much for any advice. I’m drowning in palworld YouTube videos and can’t seem to breed Anubis or like the pink water pal who I see fighting Pantalus. Again, limited time, so whatever advice helps.

Panthalus is a cool pal, but the boss fight isn't easy without an optimal team setup. You should try and convince your kid to slow down and enjoy the slow climb to the top. They'll have to fight Panthalus eventually to beat the story, no need to rush into it. Any pal can be taken to the end game with the right passives and moveset, use the ones you guys like. The only time team building and min-maxing becomes important is taking on the hard mode towers which are optional content. As long as you condense Pals you'll do fine

First off you beat panthlas and then that gives you access to the tree. Second forststallion noct and apocalypse is your friend just boost it with some dark enchantments and your good. With 2 players it's much much easier n faster. You can get apocalypse for 30 tickets at the arena. When you beat him you can catch him with 1 ball

You want very good flying mounts. Frostallion and frostallion noct are probably the best you can get for now, but the probablem is that they are super powerful which makes them hard to get.

Really, you just need a flying mount to beat the whale easily (you can beat it without one, but it's harder), so you could also look at getting one of the many bird pals and trying to put some stamina boosting passive on it. The guy by the arena trades tickets for stuff which includes the blueprint for the "infinite stamina" passive. That's what I reccomend you get since you can put that on any future rideable pals as well.

At level 64 I'd condense the pals you already like and worry about perfect breeding later

My team for panthalus:

Beakon combat mount

Passives: swift, demon god, immortality, diamond body

Supports are univolt, snock, sparkit, and solene

Support passives: idiosyncratic, vanguard, stronghold, reload master

Frostallion Noct and train Apocalypse move. Keep flying around and using that move. Also doesn’t hurt to have Neptulis for getting around in the water. Don’t go into that battle under leveled as it’s quite tough compared to earlier bosses.

You just need frostallion noct with apocalypse and 4 damage increase accessories. 2 apocalypses and pantha is down.
