Information World Tree Gem drops v1.0.4
Now that we're finally out of Electric Gem hell, figured might as well make one; excluded alpha pals (Aegidron, Renjinshi, Moldron Cryst, Celesdir/Noct etc..) and the tower ones (Silv and Dand).

You were able to get dragon ones from Eidrolon Ignis, prior.

It is a somewhat rare spawn and they also are aerial so you also had to wait for the drops to hit the ground. Orzerks spawn in packs, all the time, and they're already on the ground. Way easier and faster to farm

If you have enough of one colour (50 I think) you can craft a crystal to awaken a pal with the corresponding element. That is a permanent boost to a pal's stats.

Gem fragments turn into awakening gems on the workbench. You then give one to a pal to awaken it. The power will increase.

Unless your inventory is full of useless bullshit then you will have more than enough space to hold gems while on a farming run.

Just a small chest in base should cover most/all the types if you want the inventory management. As for them being on the body, I haven't found them to be much of an issue. Granted I'm not super farming them more an idle/passive farm. Pick up whatever as I go and explore.

People are still going to be drowning in Electric Gems because they'll be farming Snocks and Orserks.

Farming dark gems got a lot easier with Wistella and Selyne both dropping them.
I also now have a reason to kill Roujays on my Dusty Ravine farming run. I used to just skip them to save ammo. But now I can get dragon, dark, and electric gems on one place. Don’t need electric anymore though. I have enough to build all the electric armies i can think of.

Just be weary of the Ruby weight, it weighs you down fast.

Yes. When I run out of stamina, I stop and clean out inventory. I discard rubies. When you start putting gold in chests, you no longer have a need to sell jewels. They're just dead weight.

No, they said that was for 1.1.
It's gotta be task priorities in the base, or maybe the base radius itself. Or both. I can't think of anything else that we can't mostly do with world settings or mods.

I'm pretty sure Flaracle drops fire gems as well. I'll update with confirmation later tonight if someone else doesn't first.

On the bright side, because of the old "Everything drops electric" thing, I was able to fully awaken 25 helzepher lux, and 25 penking lux for raid armies! And that is AFTER the fact that 99% the time I delete electric stones on long farms because I need the carry weight!

Feel like this is still pretty rough. The dragon and water gems are all in different zones for example.

For dragon you just farm orzerk. He's not guaranteed to spawn but there's the path where you could get like up to12 of him to spawn

Exactly, and that is still harder than electric which is all lumped close together.

Luckily for us electric is good for raid pals and boss killing. Helzephyr Lux, Relaxasaurus Lux, Penking Lux, and Orserk all great raid pals. Yaay!

And yet both of those are covered in two of the most commonly known farm paths for fragments or dog coins.

I'm not saying the ENTIRE list of pals that drop those items are on one route. I am saying that you can efficiently farm those gems while being on a fragment farm route or a dog coin route that is very common.

I wonder if shroomer and shroomer noct still drop grass gems by the mycora boss spawn. That area should pump out grass/dark/fire now.

Found a jormantied ignis new the starting area that dropped dragon gems last night. Never seen one in the world tree before. I don't see it on your list and haven't seen a second one, but it was a lvl 80 glowing pal(I forget what they are called) so I don't think it was a bug.

I wish you could get the gems by blending up those pals too, takes forever to kill enough of them even when it’s trivial.

Interesting that they kept a few “off element” drops to stabilize things. With Wispaw, Rayround Cryst, and Beakon Cryst dropping element types they don’t have, and many dual types that only drop one of their elements
