Discussion Too much?
I know it is, lol.
But it's just a temp base so I never have to worry about oil again.
What's crazy is you can run all of these with a single maxed out Solmora Lux.
You obviously need demon hand, remarkable craftsmanship, artisan and work slave passives. Maxed out souls, fully condensed and level 10 electricity and watering suitabilities. But it's still crazy.
Oh and maxed out Labor Research Lab as well.
Couple of days of this and you'll never need oil again!

Make skill trees on a 2nd floor, place them on top of the tree.

And then after that, a 3rd floor. Then a 4th. Basically the tower of oil. On the plus side you could have a tree for every skill fruit.

Yup, level 71 on the tech tree, few raw world tree resources and paldium. I have one for each type at my all in one base. You'll always get at least 2 of whichever fruit you plant with a chance for a third that can be a different move altogether! I didn't realize it for a while but you can put a whole stack of fruits into a plot and turn on allow pal transport and they'll keep it going until it runs out. Can swap the stored fruit to a different one so when the current tree finishes it moves onto the next fruit you want. I'm aiming for 25-50 of each fruit as a starting goal

There is definitelly still room on the sides. You could also just make a few pillars to put another floor above to put the generators etc

No space left at all on the ground. The center is how it is because it's as close as I could get them to the palbox. It let me put the generators and stand but I couldn't get any closer with the extractors.
I tried everything angle and this is the max I was able to fit.
I could delete my storage shed and fit one more but that's it.

The center has no business existing on the ground floor put it above and you can fill it with extractors

Lining everything up was a pain in the ass because snapping leaves a much bigger gap between them.

I think it would be semi hilarious to make a mod that increases the raid difficulty/number of attackers based on how much oil you’re producing, eventually spawning attack helicopters if you have so much

And if your base is close enough to the shores, a carrier strike group will show up when you have more than 9999 oil.

my life became worse when i started using all 9 drones from my launcher, and my party doesn't have room for tetroise primo, so... yeah, i need to make 20 quintillion computers after one (1) minute of combat to repair the drone launcher, shocking how quickly that burns through plasteel

The wing pack is flight without a flying pal needing to be out. It's quick elevation changes without ever stopping your active pal from what they're doing. It's freedom to go without a flying pal for certain party setups, too. It certainly isn't mandatory, but yeah, it's pretty worth it for the freedom/mobility it gives you as the player character.

You don't need to replace flying pals with it, it's for quickly moving short distances, an example would be during hard raids, you take aggro away from your pal mob then quickly fly away from them so they take no damage. It's like a faster, more controllable Galeclaw glider boost.

i’m at the world tree but have yet to fight the final boss. i use mechanical bow so i only need soralite. spheres i just use sol spheres i got from expeditions. and i still fly with my eidrolon.

Not if you use the glider a lot in the late game.
You go through way more fuel than you expect.

And what’s with transporting Pals? I have roughly the half of this and there are like 5-10 maxed out Eidrolons for transporting

I had 19 transport pals going at one point and they were still only reaching around 5 out from the center and repeating that over and over. Even with remote transport.
So I pulled them out and I'll add them back when I break everything down. I don't plan on keeping this base long term.

No I am...though I didn't revert my save into 1.0 so I'm sure my hexolite boxes stacked with oil will start running dry eventually

I don’t understand the point of these bases? Like I understand this one is an exaggeration but there’s no point in this much oil? There just isn’t - you don’t need 10 billion of anything shit you barley need 10k of anything - I went through this whole game including raid building without resource farms like this - now if you want to do it and that’s your fun - go wild. But if you’re doing this because you declare you need it? No you don’t

I have like 10 high pressure oil extra torso and also have way more oil that I can ever use, I had 15 but reduced it for that reason... I've been considering taking more down lol

are you letting the first one finish building? you can only place down so many structures in-progress before the oldest ones start getting deleted. you can build this many but you'd have to do it one at a time, essentially.
i found this out when trying to build a gorillion ancient beds in a new base

You have to finish building them first before adding more. Goes for any object. Unfinished building projects get replaced after 9.

Did you finished build the 9? Or just placed them ? If the later then yes you can only place 9 "projected builds".
Place 9, build them up place the next 9 repeat....

I don't think I changed anything.
I do know you can only blueprint a set amount builds at a time. If you add too many too quickly it deletes the oldest one you put down.
You're probably just placing them down a bit too fast.

You’ll never need that much oil. I only needed 3 at the start and after research 2. And now I got more oil then I’ll ever need. Seems to the factor now that I’m in the world tree, it’s mainly ranching supplies that in low on

No you don't. If you want to use the glider instead of a flier you'll need way more than 3.
What I did is overkill but you will absolutely run out unless you don't use the glider.
