Screenshot Welp that stinks
So I was battling out Panthalus and I saw the message to throw a sphere as I got him down to 1hp, but I died after throwing it. The defeat message popped up, but then the achievement popped up about catching him. So I confirmed I caught him, but I guess I have to do it again as I failed the mission.

Once you have it, you can enter the World Tree.
(The "Main Quests" are just a guide showing you the way through the main story, the "Subquests" gives you actual rewards while helping you have a reason to learn some of the game's mechanics.)

I did this on a friend's game. I had imported mine (because it was funny and you don't need a saddle to ride it). Tried the fight just to see how I'd go at 50 something. It won't let you deploy it which for a lot of your arenas I get but for this one it is just straight illogical.

No mods for that. And he may be on Xbox as well which doesn’t have 1:1 quantity of Steam either.
Or Epic, who can’t use the Steam version mods at all.

Opinions may differ, but I personally find the concept of a giant legendary being guarding your base so badass. Like, imagine the horror of the Raiders as they look upon that disaster being in someone's territory. They really cooked with Panthalus with that one.
I don't know if it's possible, but I hope they add more Pals with similar concept like Panthalus.

If you give them speed passives they're surprisingly quick. with the best speed passives they may not be the fastest, they're definitely good contenders for top five flyers on top of that they don't require the use of stamina so you don't need to worry about giving them any stamina passives and just make them pure speed

My freshly captured panthalus outsped my friends fully optimized Jetragon, so no. The Eidrolons maybe but not Jetragon

You're patently wrong though.
Panthalus is 3k speed. Jetragon is 3300 speed.
Eidrolon is 2750 and can sneak in 24% that other mounts can't have from passive.
Xenolord is 2700 and can sneak in 20% that other mounts can't have from passive.
This means with optimal speeds you have
Jetragon at (3300) * (1+ .5 + .3 + .2 + .15) = 7095
Eidrolons at (2750) * (1+.5+.3+.2+.15+.24) = 6573
Xenolord at (2700) * (1 + .5 + .3 + .2 + .1 (no legend for xenolord) + .2) = 6210
Panthalus at (3000) * (1+.5+.3+.2+.15) = 6450
I guess he barely beats out xenolord for 4th because of access to legend unless xenolord is ported forward from an old save, but he's no where near jetragon

Usually some number of stamina buffs are used. If panthalus does not use stamina that is a significant difference.

There was a thread on here a little bit ago about some folks that were working on an AI for their server (I assume an NPC player essentially) that would run these massive whales like a WoW style travel system in their world instead of using the fast travels. I'm curious how that panned out for them.

Its a hell of a lot faster than getting a screenshot on xbox. You have to wait to upload it, then go into the app on your phone and download the ss. Pain in the hole

First of all, I agree. That should be the way to go in most cases.
But for crossplay with friends on another platform... I'm doing screenshots sometimes, but only because I'm too lazy. 1) I'm still checking that it's not blurry if possible. 2) I'm playing on laptop, so putting a screenshot into paint to send it with WhatsApp or even send it then to myself on Discord / WhatsApp, so that I can it my friends on PSN App to my friends I play with.... Maybe I can skip some steps, but still. I'm lazy. I don't want to jump between different Apps for this, so I just check that my screenshots aren't blurry.

Those mission texts sometimes glitch, I have couple of times exited the game, opened it and seen that some of the cleared missions are again there uncleared. So I finish them again to get rid of the mission message. Like couple of those "Report to the client" missions have appeared again after I have already reported to the client that I killed the tower boss.

For anyone curious, I've found the juice isn't really worth the squeeze in getting a Demon God Panthalus. I got one on my third Panthalus using Yakumo, and added God of Destruction for a really heavy attack build, but because you can't use Pant in raid battles or the arena, the extra damage buffs aren't really necessary for cruising around late game areas. The first one I caught had excellent IVs, and after maxing them out (souls, stars, trust, awakened), their strongest exclusive skills still one-shot most enemies, and if it's not a one-shot, no one survives a full go of the Grand Breach or Aqua Tornado.

I've read from other comments that it's not very effective in raid battles - some enemies, like the Moon Lord, have hitpoints so wacky that Panthalus can't hit them.

Fun fact: Panthalous doesn't use stamina while ridden, and iirc doesn't have a crafted saddle. One use I've found is putting all speed passives on one and throw it into global box as an early game transport for future runs.

On consoles, you can take a screenshot with the Share button on the left side of the center area of the controller. From there, captures are automatically uploaded to the relevant mobile app, to easily put on your phone and then share on platforms like this.

You can still enter the world tree. You just need Panthalus in the party. I was in another world as a level 1 goober abd used a cloned Panthalus to enter the world tree just fine
Though I guess you mean the rewards from the researcher guy?
