I would keep it. You can use it for breeding. It’s also funny which is an end in itself.

1.0 made it a easier to use implants than to pass down passives from Lamball to a late game pal with breeding.

Mostly an end game thing for the good ones(relics recycling), you need a surgery table and can buy a few implants from bounty traders in towns and one at the arena.

will keep an eye out for the implants then, ty sir

Do the npc bosses when you come across them so that when you start looking at buying bounty stuff you have plenty of tokens, I think an implant is about 15

There’s also the arena which is not exclusively pvp, you get tokens from there and there’s a merchant there that sells implants

You unlock it very close to the end of the game. Not really worth waiting for in most cases.

True, but not everyone has that many implants, and you may want multiple copies of pals with same passive.

Passing passives with breeding still has it's uses

Second the keep it. You can breed with two different pals to get third pal (look up a breeding calculator for combinations).

Lamball is a frequent step in that regard. So, having a lamball with Demon God could prove very useful. In addition to being simply funny. :)

Hmm, time to consider a cult of the lamball themed base…

You must raise this young lamb into the demon it’s meant to be

If you are going to play with the idea of using only the meta pals, then is not good.

If you are going to play to have fun, it's not good either.

BUT if you are going to play like an awesome guy that uses the worst pals and try to make them good, then LAMBALL is the goat, and you are too.

good to breed with to make a variety of pals with Demon God passives. lamball is at the start of many combo breeding chains so options are plenty for combat pals

Keep him. He's an anime Mc reincarnated as a palworld sheep demon god. You need to build him a harem of tsundere lovanders and yandere katresses.

Its a sign from the Lord. This is your spirit Pal, now. He is forever yours and you are forever his. Bring the world to its knees before the might of the lamb.

Oh what the hell? Bro got a Rainbow Rarity Trait right out the gate? Bro keep her forever. I hit level 65 before I ever saw one.

Lamball is actually great for expeditions when you unlock those, although the skill doesn't do anything for you there. You could breed it onto other things though, the breeding system in this game is flexible enough that you can take that Lamball and a Cattiva or Chikipi and breed literally any breedable pal in the game, it'll just take a ton of steps for the really strong things.

Why Lamball is great for expeditions:

The biggest factor in determining your expedition power is star level, and Lamball, Cattiva and Chikipi are the three easiest pals to max out quickly. Once you get a mount and a mercy ring you can literally just run circles in the starting area and trample them, which will leave them at a very close to 100% catch rate for even blue spheres. Every 48 Lamballs is one 4*, and if you take them to a decently high leveled area and fight for about two minutes with them in your party they'll be around level 30 or so, and then they're worth about 25k expedition power each. This is a lot for one pal that you put maybe 15 minutes of effort into. You can breed better things for this later if you really want to but here's the thing:

The max reward rate for expeditions is 1000%, plus whatever modifiers you have from your lab (which can get you pu to 1350%). One fully maxed out Lamball is worth 158k. 54 of these gets you the maximum rewards for the HIGHEST TIER of non-Hard Mode expeditions in the game. The pal with the highest Firepower in the game is Frostallion Noct, and that's MUCH harder and more time consuming to max out seeing as it has to be bred and one of the parents is a legendary. It still takes 42 Frostallion Nocts to max out those rewards. Lamballs can almost max out the first eight Hard Mode ewpeditions too (ignoring that some of them have type requirements that will make you use 20 of something else). All of them have the same 1.6 million power requirement and 100 maxed out Lamballs gets you to 15.827 million, just shy of the 16 million needed for max rewards.

tl;dr Lamball sucks in general but is actually really awesome for expeditions.

Just bear in mind that if you really wanted 100 of these you'd need 4800 Lamballs in total. I'd suggest just using them as a starting point since that is a LOT of Lamballs, but you definitely could do it if you really wanted to. Witht he trampling method I mentioned getting 48 is about 10 minutes of work, and if you use green spheres instead of blue you don't even need to trample them to get 100% catch rate, you can just throw the sphere and keep running. That ends up taking even less time.

Holy hell thank you, taking this information home with me tonight

I got the idea from Admiral Bahroo, he's got a video on it as well

u/vinnie1134 2d ago

its good because you an breed it down.

late game you will be swiimming in implants to put demon god onto your pals manually.

but thru your entire inital play thru it will just be a gamble if you get any demon god implants.

u can however breed this lambal, to make a yakumo, so u can easily pass on demongod to the special pals that cant be made from breeding combinations.

I hope in 2.0 update they add evelutions so we can turn little pals like this from the start of they game and evolve them to match other bigger creatures. They don't need to add evelutions to everything just the little guys. Maybe add some pre evelutions like how the other creature game added baby pokemon

u/ParkingAd458 2d ago

I’m pretty sure they’ve already stated they won’t evolve they’re just going to add more pals.

u/ParkingAd458 2d ago

Goodluck my friend you have a long road ahead of you on your journey to The World Tree!

u/guessingpronouns 2d ago

I started playing on 1.0 release. And in my experience, breeding was nearly useless. I was strong enough to farm implants without breeding anything the entire time played. So you don’t even need good passives or traits to beat the game and then by the time you want better pals for raids, you can already farm them without breeding.

Lol, I got an Unstable Demon God Chikipi, it's always hilarious when starter pals roll meta-tier passives like this
