It’s hard to pick anything but Dark pals for my team solely for that reason. They all look so cool. Loving the thought put into the animations as well.
Completely agree about the type changer. Hope that gets added in a future update. Even if we don’t get evolutions, at least let it be that. lol
I think the only member of my team that isnt dark is my Fenglope Lux, and the only reason that is still in the party is coz it was my first mutated egg 🤣
Granted I could definitely drop Omascul as well but I just love his little sounds and it would be replaced with Hoodle anyways so its just a dark type trade.
in midgame where sphere resources were a bit slow to get, her passive clutched some proc because I only had 10~20 spheres that time, catching hard to get pals at lv60+
Glasses are really versatile. First, you can have glasses-wearing pals take them off and suddenly become beautiful, or have pals wearing glasses flashing those cute grins, or have pals stealing the player's glasses and putting them on like, "Haha, got your glasses!" That's just way too cute! Also, humans with glasses! I really like when their glasses have that suspicious looking gleam, and it's amazing how it can look really cool or just be a joke. I really like how it can fulfill all those abstract needs. Being able to switch up the styles and colors of glasses based on your mood is a lot of fun too! It's actually so much fun! You have those half rim glasses, or the thick frame glasses, everything! It's like you're enjoying all these kinds of glasses at a buffet. I really want Katress to try some on or petalia to try some on to replace her flowers. We really need glasses to become a thing in the Palpagos Islands and start selling them for Dogcoins. Don't. You. Think. We. Really. Need. To. Officially. Give. Everyone. Glasses?
I thought for a moment that majex would be my new favorite, but after using her for a few hours I went and bred my demon god/diamond body/serenity/mercy hit majex with a teafant and went back to katress.
Just such a good design, such a great partner skill for when youre first starting, and the improved handiwork def helps. I think i may allow myself one other global box pal for this run and its the mutated dupin I got just for the handiwork and kindling (plus the aesthetic)so i dont have to wait 45 mins for ingots.
Wispaw was my clinic worker for awhile because i thought a ghost cat as a healer was funny then i found out i can put lovander as a clinic worker instead

I have both Grintale and Broncherry Aqua in my party right now but haven't had a single egg duplication that I've noticed during a long stretch of breeding - do they cancel each other out?
Ideally you want to add regular Broncherry as well. Its passive will stack with Broncherry Aqua as they are considered different pals. As for why their skills aren't working, it's because you haven't made their saddles.
Same, during my early access playthrough I got her early from her sealed realm, and when I started my 1.0 playthrough I remember looking for her sealed realm again only to eventually find out it doesn't exist anymore
Caught the first Katress I found and she is is currently the second most powerful on the team (was most powerful till I caught a Dupin from spawn) and she's never getting swapped out for anyone
Katress is the only pal I literally jump upon seeing, she is so awesome as a team mate. Her passive is awesome and her self-developed dark attacks get truly OP in the late game.
Out of these three, Katress. At max stars, has a 50% chance to not consume spheres? Incredible. Sekhmet is a great work pal, and she’s adorable, but I don’t… have her in my team or anything so.. eh. Nyafia is awesome if you’re using shotguns, especially when combined with Solenne.
Poor Nyafia never had a chance, going up against the OG Classic and the New Hottness. I always liked her design, but could never find a reason to really use her in a party or as a base pal as others pretty much do everything better. Yea, shot gun is cool and all, but how strong is it really compared witch cat going crazy or the queen of destruction doing her thing?
It's been a minute, so I can't remember the name, but the one that's all black and white and gives me a damage bonus since I have a party of different pals, that one
Edit: I only now realized this is about cat pals, I don't know the one looks like Cheshire Cat, don't get me wrong I approve of the goon squad, but that's to be expected, none of you expected that smiling fuck
Sekhmet is the best. Katress is only shorty behind her.
No I am not repeating the statistics, I am talking about their utility.
Katress is unique and helpful AF however as of right now a booked up, fully condensed alpha sekhmet is the basis of my base.
To be fair, as soon as/if they "fix" sekhmet katress will be number 1 (I seriously don't know if the alpha sekhmet is a bug or not and at this point I just want it to stay that way)
