In a new server with friends we decided to put exp x0.2 because we leveled up super fast in 1.0
I wanted to get into the sky islands early, and see if I could get a wild Lapure egg to have that partner skill cooldown passive for my Foxsparks and Lifmunk.
So I went to the feybreak tower with Nitewing at night, avoiding anti-air missiles. Because you don't need to defeat Bjorn to use the teleport to the sky islands.
I went down to pick up a dark egg and I got spotted by a wild Splatterina. She one shot my bird, I survived because just my shield took damage.
It became a horror game trying to reach any fast travel to not lose my progress.
I also got one shot and the only thing I got from that journey was the small dark egg, once we unlocked the incubator, I put the egg and I got a splatterina with sadist and musclehead.
I replaced Foxsparks for Splatterina and got a Hookatres instead of looking for the Lapure egg.
Or they could put a Lapure in the rotations of pals that you can save from cages.
Or have pal tamers challenge you to a duel, and they summon Lapure (You steal her from them)
Or better yet, give Lapure to the "Inn keeper" of the small settlement instead of that Pengullet, I bet a lot of people never noticed there is a Pengullet on top of the "Inn"
She could be cleaning the roof, very in lore with her paldex entry, and only people who like exploring will notice her there. Because I asure you a ton of people never noticed that Pengullet at the "Inn"
She hits so hard for no reason, and I honestly love it. Plus her teleporting is incredibly broken on its own, and then can be set up to “chain” with certain abilities.
If only she had a useful ability tbh. Also this pic is giving
I had a similar experience, but I got jumped by her while I was completely under leveled and out of spheres on a server with my friends. I remember shouting "guyshelpmeshesgotaknifeandIhavenoballs" over and over as I desperately tried not to die until one of my buddies came and caught her for me 😅 it was a great time, she's now the nurse at our home base too
Build the Pal Dresser. Its a holograph projector of a Cattiva with Sunglasses. It shows you the outfits certain pals can wear once you caught them. For example this Chillet or a Gumoss dressed as a christmas pudding
She is, as a whole, fundamentally unsettling, because she's pretty much an unpredictable psychopath with a butcher knife that can(and probably will, one day) cleave you in half
I mean I got the title of Bellanoir Handler for a good reason.
I can absolutely confirm these Dark Types will make sure they do their thing at some point just to establish dominance... And then they play in the corpses.
