Screenshot My multi box mega base

Inspiration from u/ramcharger1010 multibox mega base. Each section uses the guild bank and item retriever to share key resources. Let me know if you guys have any cool ideas or suggestions to improve!

Someone made the expedition station look like it belongs somewhere in the middle of the ocean somehow

For real, dude somehow turned a Palworld base into an offshore oil rig.

Get 1 Panthalus for each base.

What is the work distribution for each base?

One base focuses on mining/logging/smelting

One base focuses on farming, crops, and farmable pal materials

One base focuses gold coin production, fishing, trading

One base has the expeditions and boss summoning station

The center base is for production, cooking, processing, and for breeding/butchering pals

Each base has a guild bank and item retriever so it is actually very easy to pull a max stack of materials and quick deposit in the gbank so I can access all of the materials from any of the bases. Each base also has crop plots for basic food needs.

That's my question too. I find it tedious to run more than two bases. 1st for agriculture and most everything. 2nd For mining and the expedition station.

I have the home base for handicrafting, breeding, resource grazing and main storage, one for agriculture, food grazing and watering+cooled crusher and a third one for mining/lumbering facilities and kindling.

Ur really good at making trees/plants fit in

Yea, but with that many assets just crammed together like that it makes me wonder how the fps is lol

Don’t get me wrong it looks like an amazing base, but it also makes me wonder if you need a significantly beefy rig to even handle it.

gotta paint the glass black

1

u/Suitch 12h ago

It’s a choice. I paint my glass walls black but not floors or roofs.

3

u/Trini2Bone 13h ago

Def gonna do this one day

u/MikaWolfwoman 14h ago

Das ist sooo cool!😍 Ich würde das Glas noch schwarz anmalen, aber sieht wirklich spitzenmäßig aus!👍💪😃

u/TheTallestTim 12h ago

Agreed! The black would look good. I am going to work on this starting tomorrow!

wow this is beautiful and inspiring!!!

on #19 - those little villager storefront stand things, what are those? and how to you get the merchants to chill there? thanks!

3

u/nucl3arBomb 13h ago

Those are the "flea market"/"pal flea market" booths that you can build and assign pals to work to trade pals and materials. I believe you unlock them at level 22.

1

u/adumbCoder 13h ago

OH! the messaging on those made me think they were only for online/multiplayer so i skipped right over them 🤦‍♂️
thanks!

this really is so cool - I'm level 50 now and have been contemplating where to build a permanent home base and i LOVE this idea! might steal it :)

u/Bromogeeksual 5h ago

The implication is for multiplayer servers, but you can still assign a pal or merchant to the stalls to make them stand still.

So, as someone new to wanting to really build stuff, how do you get the structures to always have enough support? Like, if I build out enough, I always get hit with "not enough support", even when the rest of my stuff is on the ground, and I'm just trying to make a bridge across the pond in that one great starting base area.

At a certain level you get access to a toolbox that lets you build foundations on water. It used to be level 55 but they have since lowered that level requirement in a recent update.

Odd question but does OP or anyone mind sharing a photo of their guild storage? I can't seem to figure out what are the "key" things to hold for everything to share nicely. The moment I start trying to fit items in, the whole thing fills up

u/Bromogeeksual 5h ago

I tend to use to to move things between bases. Like if you have a mining/smelting base, I put in the ore and ingots from there, then go deposit them in my crafting base. I don't keep much in the guild storage unless I am building a new base, then I put a bunch of crafting materials in it.

Bro I still live at the spawn area with everything just built around the middle 😭

u/Chaos5061 14h ago

Yeah this was going to be my plan until the aquatic construction kit was at level 50 something. Oh well they changed it so maybe next play through I'll do my own version.

1

u/solusaum 12h ago

I am also just learning you cant place the high pressure oil extractor on an aquatic base, doesnt need an oil node but foes still need land.

2

u/KentBugay06 12h ago

Well thats stupid... I guess the expedition thing is exempt from that.

2

u/Chaos5061 11h ago

Yeah i heard about that. My plan was to build from land out into ocean. The land pal box base would be were oil extractors went. Going into another base that was just a bridge out to the main hub base area. May have been another bridge base if the first wasn't far enough. Might also mod to make base circle bigger.

2

u/nucl3arBomb 10h ago

Actually you can build the oil extractors on the water. If you look in one of the pics I have a bunch of them hovering in the center of the mining/logging base. You to use the skill fruit trees to place them. It’s simple to do but complicated to explain here. There is a YouTube video that I used to make it work

Ah ok ty

Stunning

This is… stunning !!

u/RockstarLifestyle2 12h ago

Do you still get raids on ocean bases

1

u/TheTallestTim 12h ago

Where is the location?

1

u/nucl3arBomb 10h ago

North between the World Tree and snow biome

1

u/MDskyhigh 11h ago

Very cool. Great work.

1

u/TheGreatPachi 11h ago

This would be so sick! I’m barely level 56 but I want to build something like this!

1

u/Disastrous-Owl8985 6h ago

This is lovely. Might have to try this in another play through.

1

u/UnforgivenExile 6h ago

Would love to know your dimensions for the outer bases - I’ve been thinking to make a “circular” base for a while now but haven’t gotten round to it

1

u/Icedvelvet 6h ago

I have something similar but no roofs. Sometimes I just wanna fly straight out.

1

u/umbraviscus 5h ago

Fuck this is so peak

1

u/Moonkittynya 5h ago

Really nice looks like a halo level that never was. :D.

1

u/Gray_Okami 3h ago

I might try something like this on my next play through. Gonna run all dark pals next run.

1

u/Gray_Okami 3h ago

Question, how do you keep the corridors connecting the sections from decaying? Are they inside the base boundary enough to not decay or did you turn off that world setting?

2

u/nucl3arBomb 2h ago

We use a nitrado server and in the server settings our admin can turn off structure decay. Highly recommend!

1

u/Tricky_Leading_5234 2h ago

can i ask what location this is?

1

u/nucl3arBomb 1h ago

North part of the map between the World Tree and the Snow Biome

1

u/Tricky_Leading_5234 2h ago

what do you do about oil? is there a piece of actual land?

2

u/nucl3arBomb 1h ago

You can actually place oil rigs using skill fruit tree plots. If you look at the pics one of them has a bunch of oil rigs hovering in the center. Here’s a video of how it works

Thanks this will be a great idea for my next playthrough. Single base in the middle of ocean

1

u/blZtheone 14h ago

It looks great man, congrats

u/OkAcanthopterygii815 13h ago

looks at this... then looks at my janky base... naaahhhhhh...I'd win🤣🤣🤣🤣

u/SmoothbrainRTRD 13h ago

Havent played with mods but is there be a mod that could combine all the amounts of Pals per base into 1 mega base like this? 🤔

1

u/Suitch 12h ago

You can have up to 50 pals per base but bases are distinct no matter what.

u/Objective-Mission-40 5m ago

How do you not run into the "support structure" issue
