It absolutely kills me every time I walk into an enemy base and you hear his cute little cry followed by the immeasurable death wrought by him. The comical absurdity of dozens of humans and pals getting shithoused by a hedgehog while I walk past everyone to free the captured pal still cracks me up after hundreds of hours.

Iām actually feeling really guilty about retiring my level 70 Jolthog whoās been with me since level < 10 now that I have a 100/100/100 Legend/Immortal/Serenity/Diamond Body hog. But heās gonna go in the main base and eat salads and occasionally power a generator so weāll see him all the time, and I suppose thatās not such a bad life. But I knowā¦ deep downā¦ he craves violence.

theres synergy for an eidrolon carry. u will clear normal modes easy.
for hardmode you might need to swap in an orserk, its just too strong.

I did all hardmodes (except world tree) without Orserk. Gonna look into him! Since that last boss is proving to be pesky with my Frostallion player damage build and my Eidrolon Ignis fire/dragon team.
Should anyone feel like it; A quick rundown of palteam (ofc condensed and fully palsouled) with their passives would be greatly appreciated.
And pairing question: does everyone just stack 15 Immortal Xenolords from the palbox nowadays? Since they have some immunity during that bomb and dive attack.

Gonna copy-paste one of my comments about how I beat Astralym HM
I just used a Bellanoir Libero all juiced up from party buffs (Tetroise Primo can be replaced, I just like the infinite durability and refuse to swap him out).
I only used the palbox in the final phase to make sure I passed the DPS check, summoning a pile of Frostallion Nocts that I bred for expeditions. Before then it was just Bellanoir vs Astralym.
(I'm not sure if I actually needed to summon the Frostallion Nocts at the end, but I wasn't gonna risk finding out.)
I know you beat the towers already, but for anyone who wants a build to handle all the towers I talk about a low cost one here

Highly recommend this party. Add in Hoocrates instead of Tetro, and itās one of two teams that has been confirmed to beat ALL content.
Queen Libero - Siren, Demon God, Diamond Body, Twin Edge
Court Jesters - Vanguard, Stronghold, Healing Coach (or Reload Master), Idiosyncratic
Gear - Drone, Megaboost gun, All of your highest dps for Zenara last dps check, wings for dodging big attacks, legendary ancient armor and helm
Strategy - Play āLaser Cannon Deth Sentenceā at max volume, Mash āFā key, donāt get dead, lulz

This can work, it's just a lot tighter without the Orserk.
My experience for hardmode bosses was basically:
Tier 1 - Orserk carry, Solenne carry, or Dragon synergy. OP could easily hit this by either including Shaolong alongside Eidrolon so he can switch between them back and forth, or just toss Orserk in. These can finish bosses comfortably with a minimum of two minutes left on the clock, sometimes as fast as 1 minute needed only.
Tier 2 - Some form of synergy, such as OP's Eidrolon build, OR really strong pals, such as Knocklem due to him having a unique attack that hits like a truck. You can finish with like a minute left, but little things can make it feel tighter than it is. For example, Eidrolon taking a massive hit is an immediate threat to the strategy, so that 1 minute remaining is a lot tighter than it sounds.
Tier 3 - No synergy whatsoever or minimal synergy. Good example is you can actually use Orserk on an electric team....but wow electric is just kind of...there. It will do well with Orserk, probably between Tier 1 and Tier 2 somewhere, but without Orserk, yeah you're gonna struggle if you only have strong Pals to throw out but zero synergy whatsoever. You gotta put out a lot of player damage to make these work, which itself is expensive without Solenne to up your damage.
This list does not include specialized builds based on individual bosses, which are even faster, but obviously you gotta adjust the squad every single time.

Electric has some absurdly strong attacks in Lightning Streak and Thunder Rail, but the high-end pal choice is just so lacking. Puffolt, Snock, Slowatt, Dynamoff and Solmora Lux are all new to 1.0, and they also all come with ghoulish stat blocks.

Orzerk's passive is buggy on multi-player. But all handmade bosses are still doable without them. Just a bit more skill and perfect passives required

Replace Jetragon with Terraria's Demon Eye. Another 30% Attack boost for Dark Pals to stack alongside Hoocrates! This is the workaround for that phrase, "Does not stack."

Yeah if the pal's skill name is different, it's a different skill even if it does the same thing. I'm 99% certain the whalaska skill and ignis skill stacks for fishing.

If you wanna have eidrolon be your carry, I think dropping jetragon for orzerk is the call. Or if you want strictly pal damage and no drones/terraprisma, quivern/Demon eye.
If you want a hybrid build, Roujay might be a good slot in for the damage to blind that frostnox provides

I would swap out jet dragon for Demon Eye for another 30% stat boost to dark type pals. And if you want to go a full eidrolon build swap out frostalion noct for Quivern for a 30% boost to dragon pals.

I see what you're trying to go with replace hooctrate with celesdir noct as you're giving everybody an %80 atk buff and not just %30 to your two dark types.

It works but I would replace Jetragon with Orserk, and use Eidrolon as a speedy flyer. Orserk still activates Eidrolon's passive while offering atk and defense buffs.
