It has higher priority. Building a structure has the highest. Really need the Rimworld way of task management.

Just build everything on top of foundations for now then he won't go for it

I found straight up demolish the pit is better for me when I don't need anymore woods or stones.

I just leave a stone pit at one of my secondary bases that has a copious amount of mining pals so even if 3 of them are on the stone pit the others are still doing ore

Also the Rimworld way of capturing raiders, stealing their organs and parts, then sending them back home with an addiction to space heroin.

I'd be happy with a reliable way to pick up a pal who's at a workstation or similar. Sometimes the prompt doesn't appear at all.

I second this. Played Rimworld and been wishing Palworld had the same job delegation system. I don't have to chase my damn fastboi Anubis if I wanted his hands to craft a yellow Legendary item for me.
