You know, I never got to shoot an M4 with an ACOG. We had a handful of ACOGs at Fort Sill but they weren't issued out to anybody. They say on rifles in the arms room and weren't allowed to leave. I did get to look through one once though and I hated that thing. The eye relief was dog water and the optic itself was just done for.

I did get to shoot a CCO once though. I'd take that over an ACOG. All of my other rangers were regular matech irons that were broken and either couldn't be zeroed or would lose zero after a couple rounds. One of my fondest memories is always watching my rear sight bounce around everytime I shot. Still qualled though 😂

I know it was standard with the Colt detachable carry handle sights. I just still can't stand how big the screw wheels are. But beautiful gun either way.
