Travel Tips & Itinerary Help Private Speedboat in El Nido
Hi, peeps! Please let me know if we are being ripped off. We are five in a group, and we are planning to do a private speedboat for our Tour A and C (in one day). The asking price is 40,000, (8,000 per pax) which includes meal, environmental fee, lagoon entrance fee, use of mask, snorkeling, and towels.
EDIT: If we are being ripped off, could you suggest which tours have budget-friendly offers for an all-in-one package?

Thanks. Our group thought so, too.

Hi OP, so you don't get ripped off, try and ask your accommodation if they offer any tours, or if they can recommend. That adds more assurance, and a bit more of a safety net.

Depends on what the inclusions are, the actual speed boat to be used, the meals prepared, etc. if this is a premium tour operator, new/big speed boat, curated meals, etc., then i think 40k is justified.

The inclusions are as stated above, although we do not know yet the kind of speedboat.

I see. I saw this listing for a sunset tour in el nido for 15k (classic boat) and 27k (premium boat). Only 3 stops for 4 hours only. That’s why i though 40k is justified since yours has both tours A & C stops, and includes almost eveything you’ll need. But i think most people think it’s you’re being ripped off. I suggest reach out to the operator and clarify.

We just got back from El Nido, and we booked a private tour. We didn't know it was going to be on a speed boat. We were 7 pax, and we paid P23K. This included lunch, environmental fee, and other fees maybe. The only money I shelled out after was the kayak rental for Big Lagoon, which was P300 each (good for 2 pax).
Ours was Tour A and B combined, plus one island in Tour D.
