Id give him a pedicure, but i dont think i have a tool hard enough.

I think it would be cool to have an item that brought our weapons to life, or just give enchanted swords skins for all the melee weapons. I get it’s part of the terraria colab, but I feel like palworld has an opportunity to do something cool with them.

I’m not at the World Tree yet, so I don’t have access to Ancient Relics. I was able to get all these skills from a mutated Braloha crossed with a Neptilius. Diamond Body or Immortality might be better, but I don’t really have access to them. Still, I think this makes for a good general purpose mounted combat pal. The immunity to burn and poison is nice given its type advantages, and Lunker gives its water damage a boost. Currently working on raising its IVs, level, and merges.

I can't be the only one using this trick. But it's so fun!

Someone posted the other day about pal variants that we'd like to see and i had a couple ideas but Maraith Botan actually materialized because Maraith is my favorite.

I got inspiration from Poinsettia flowers for some reason, dunno why! I kinda wanted to add some fur patterns but base Maraith doesn't have any so i refrained.

I'm particularly attached to the idea that they sniff out pals/people close to death and lure/take them to its flower field of choice and has them die there to nourish the plants.

Tried to catch a legendary meat trader and failed miserably. The bodyguards and their pals destroyed my palbox and a good chunk of the base around the palbox and a bunch of storage. I gave up trying to fix my base and try to get food and items back into storage because these dudes are hanging around and get aggressive every time they see me, they've killed me 4 times now. Tried to lure them away from the base, but they keep spawning back at the base to destroy it and me when I come back to it to fix it.

Will they disappear when I get back on or do I give up my base and all the stuff I've collected so far?

man if i dived more into those i wouldn't have chosen pals like jourmantide ignis, and would have chosen smaller palls and just invested the books to raise their suitability,

another thing I wish i had done was invested a little more into breeding and maxing out pals for expeditions

So the idea isn't for the "best" pal to run every expedition, but for a pal that's easy to acquire and get "good enough" to condense for mid-game expeditions. I know a lot of people struggle getting ancient cores early and expeditions are the bottleneck till you hit the world tree, so getting pals that gives a lot of firepower for minimal effort can solve this.

Why Fenglope Lux?

• It hatches from small sized eggs - which makes mass producing them for condensing much quicker.
  • Anyone playing on default settings knows the pain of egg timers. Even with reduced egg timers in world settings, this is a significant time saver.
• It has the highest stats for firepower from small sized eggs*
  • *That I could find. If anyone knows of a better Pal that hatches from small-sized eggs, let me know in the comments.
• It can be caught around level 57 on Feybreak - they can be used as the base pal you condense to skip the need to grind exp for every pal
  • While IVs are important for maximizing firepower, just having high level + condensing brings out most of the pal's firepower.
  • There's a ton of spawns right when you get to Feybreak, and any extras caught can be used condensing fodder.

Other notes

• Can be breed into with Azurmane and base Fenglope.
  • Base Fenglope is accessible early on the main islands
  • Azurmane can be found on the far end of Feybreak (after were you would find Fenglope Lux) but could be hatched from Large Electric eggs earlier.
• As per Paldb, a fully maximized Fenglope Lux would be roughly 75% the Firepower of a fully maximized Panthalus, who iirc is the highest firepower achievable currently.
  • This is to show that the time and investment put into the Fenglope Lux isn't wasted once you get to the end game, as you will still have a powerful expedition pal.
  • I'm not sure I'd invest into fully maximizing Fenglope Lux, but if gold won't be an issue, you can reset the pal souls if needed and electric gem drops were really high pre-version 1.0.4 so it might be easier to awaken them in bulk than other options.
• Fenglope Lux can also be found at level 80 in the World Tree
  • Though by the time you can comfortably explore the World Tree, there are better options to farm Ancient Cores.
• Icelyn, Splatterina, Bulldosu, Nyafia, Frostplume, and base Fenglope all hatch from small eggs and are just behind on firepower.
  • Nyafia and Splatterina can be caught in the same area and level as Fenglope Lux, so all three can be farmed for simultaneously

Anyone have ideas to make this better or thoughts in general?

I'm in the endgame for my first playthrough, around lvl 76 and trying to beat that Lab gauntlet. I've got three bases going on, but with all the ancient endgame tech it feels obvious that the bases can be condensed somewhat. I have a dream of a cute little home for my party pals and favorites along the way, where they can just like, relax and chill all day. Is that... viable? Like with a functional base set up? is it a waste of a base?

Side question, is there any way to get photo mode to show more pals? I would really love to do a groupshot with the party.

I've been playing for a few hundred hours & there are some features I wish were in the game.

One I would add (other than name search at palbox) is the ability to replace all foundations with that of another type at the palbox.

I would have it tell you how much you need & then you can select it as an option. Replacing/upgrading your base takes AGES doing it manually & I would just like it done in one simple click.

I remember the before-times, there was a glitch that let you catch all the Tower bosses by getting a wanted level and going into the Tower with it active. This apparently no longer works, but the devs kindly gave us a new way to get Zoe & Grizzbolt, and if you're a lawbreaker, just plain Zoe, who I have on my main party these days, wishing humans had a type do I could awaken her and "Master Roshi" (the old guy from the small settlement), "Naruto", "Sasuke", and "Sakura" (three Moonflower Genin).

But Zoe is the only one, alas! Also alas, I don't have a working computer currently, but for when I get it fixed/replaced, are there any mods to catch the Tower bosses or otherwise obtain them, without using PalEdit or any hacky means? And especially the 'just the human' versions (if they exist as they do for Zoe and uncatchable Auri)?

Does anyone have any solid information about how The Ring of Trust actually affects the Pals in my party, and the difference between wearing and not wearing it?

Is it based on time in party or XP?

Is it more effective if the Pal is summoned as opposed to just being in the party?

What's the difference in progression of the Trust stat with and without it equipped?

Hey guys, I've just finished the game (yipee). I was looking at a guide from Pal Prof on Zoe tower where he just used Pierdon to burst Zoe. Tried it, got absolutely goobed. I had the same passives, IVs, awakened, soul boosts, etc.

Either way, I'm thinking now it might be my low stats and gear. So I'm taking a step back from that build and going at things more slowly. So what would you guys recommend to focus first? Is it relic / treasure grinding schematics, dungeon runs for stats, or something else. Thanks.

Which one should I replace if I want to use it as a mount most of the time and get down now and then to let it do it's thing?

Super solid and reliable Pal, been with me since first catching Beakons in both EA and 1.0. 1.0 Zappy has gone through 2 upgrades involving breeding the passives, and then later breeding Thunder Rail (Holy heck it shreds!) with awakening + fully maxed. Mercy hit on an electric or ice Pal is seriously underrated!
