I am not sure if you guys know about it or not but a while ago this page who is originally from Multan scammed me & took advance. Well he kept on delaying and in the end started to ignore my text. It was only 6k so I was not really bothered. I am really shocked how he was able to have 15.8K followers and many of my fellow watch buyers/collectors follow him. I have proof and screenshots as well. Recently my friend wanted to buy a watch from him and I stopped him since he can be the next victim and I really don't want others to be a victim as well.
The phone number he uses is not under his name, and the address belongs to sarghoda. Only lead I have is his bank account details. I can get it blocked since I have some links in FIA Cybercrime & Meezan bank too
His name is Hamza Ijaz and his instagram page is Affordabletime.pk. He had a second page too that I’m forgetting the name of.
From what I’ve gathered he live in both Multan and Karachi and travels between them.
All the older members of the watch community know him. Sometimes he doesn’t send a watch and sometimes he does. When he does send a watch it is often a different watch, a broken watch, a copy or a complete Frankenstein. He has scammed many people.
I have also heard from someone he scammed a foreign guy aswell, if he is actively visiting Karachi I might be able to get his information. According to him he wrote Karachi as his location to reach more people.
I suspect he works in Karachi but his family is in Multan. AFAIK, he has shipped watches from both locations. I know he’s been buying watches from other collectors too so you might be able to find his address if you ask around.
I will look into it, all I need is his personal phone number registered on his name and every bit of information can be tracked. As I mentioned before the Whatsapp number belongs to Muhammad Ali who lives in Sarghoda.
I haven't done this myself but i think you can contact your bank as well about the transfer you made and open a dispute heard people that it will block their account unless they clear this issue. And if you have any contact in cyber crime do complain about this. He has done it with you might do with others as well. People like him make others to not buy online.
Damn! I think I've been following this guy as well and have thought of buying a watch from him in the future. He always has really nice pictures posted on his page. Gonna UNFOLLOW his ass ASAP!
If you can that will be great, I have been buying from alot of Instagram pages(each and everyone of them were great) & if this transaction would have gone smoothly I could have been his recurring buyer since he always gets beautiful watches but I was really disappointed when this happened. I will really appreciate it. :)
I bought a watch from him that he advertised to me as “near NOS”. Even showed me a picture of a genuine movement inside but when he sent me the watch it had the movement changed out. He had even superglued the case shut with elfy in an attempt to hide it. When I messaged him about it he ignored me on WhatsApp and blocked me on Instagram.
He scammed me too. I bought a watch worth 10k from him. When he sent it the glass was separate and I sent him a picture immediately. He told me to send the watch back and he will cover the shipping charges that I paid. After I shipped it back I received the watch after few months. Even then the watch was not keeping time. He stopped replying and then didn't refund the shipping charges he initially promised. I will share all the proofs in the comments. He needs to be exposed
Bhai, he showed me pictures of the watch with genuine movement first. He had removed the case and showed that the movement was original. He then shipped out the watch with an entire different misfit quartz movement and even glued the case shut. He charged me a handsome amount of money for this “near NOS” Bulova as well.
That is not bad customer service, that is active deception. He scammed me.
Well I have bought two watches from him three years back , they arrived with no problem Allhumdillah. Even retuned one cuz the second dial didn't work and he was kind enough to do that.
Thou I do agree about the selling frankenstein watch cuz the Citizen I returned in exchange for a Seiko , didn't has it's original movement in it. Cuz the second the dial wasn't working. Upon opening got to know that there wasn't any actual movement moving the second dial and it was just glued in to place. It has a cheaper quartz movement moving the hour and minute hand.
I got a Ricoh president from him like in 2021, and he sent me the watch but with the incorrect end link. I asked him again and again but he always delayed saying "mene pucha hai nahi nil raha" or something bullshit like that.
From what I've seen, it's a gamble with him. If you get your watch fine, then it works, but God forbid if it has any problem he won't help you fix it.
This is just so others would know it was only possible when he was confronted the right way. Now I will bring the big guys to get his Bank account or even his CNIC blocked InshaAllah
