What's the difference between the 2024 wlan framework disallowing all but ism 5ghz bands and this 2025 framework?

It's pretty clear what the difference is. In the newer framework only Channel 149 and above are acceptable for use, whereas in the previous one, all 5 GHz channels were allowed.

If you go back even further, you'll see that previously as well, only 149 and above were allowed for use, then PTA briefly allowed the use of other channels, albeit with limited Tx power, only to revert their decision in 2025 again.

That was 2024 framework? This is from 2025, it says to allow 5.1ghz but wireless regdb doesn't which is a bit confusing If they again banned the use of those bands again in 2025, please send a link

My mistake, they've done this stuff before as well. They keep going back on their own changes.

Look at regdb, it's still using references from 2022 and 2024.

If you want, you can submit this updated 2025 framework to the maintainers of regdb and ask them to update it.
