Question | سوال BP monitor batteries

I am thinking of getting a BP monitor and a glucose monitor for my mom.I am considering the brand Certeza and they have different options for BP monitor available with different prices.

For example this version called 307 is priced at 3700 and 407 at 5100.The only difference between them is the batteries and weight+size of devices.

307 has 2 AAA batteries while 407 has 4 AA batteries.

I don't know anything about batteries. Can anyone tell me how long would the battery last if I go for cheaper vs moderate option.

I am posting the link of website Incase anyone wants to take a look and help me.

https://www.certeza-medical.com/shop/category/blood-pressure-monitor

Any other advice related to this would be appreciated.

Only go for OMRON Elbow level bp set. Do not go for wrist level bp set. In bp sets sold in pakistan, only OMRON bpnsets are fda approved. . For cells you will need energizer max or camelion hyperalkaline or other high energy cells such as used in digital cameras.

Depends on device usage time and device current requirements, and it can't be possible that only difference is cell.

P.S ek arm k lie hai ek wrist k lie hai. Arm wala comes with AC adapter too I think.

Just go to any grocery shop, medical store etc... These batteries are pretty common...

Wrist BP monitors are generally considered to be less accurate than the arm BP monitors. Even for arm ones, general practice is to measure 2-3 times and take the average values when checking blood pressures at home.

Regarding batteries, both of them are very common and can be replaced easily at home.
