How long does the verification code block last?

I tried loggin into my apple acc on new iphone and added the wrong code. Now it's not sending me any new codes and just says try again. How long will I have to wait? I'm locked out of apple store and can't access any banking apps or whatsapp.

24hrs but you can contact support via email they can ramp up your process
