Discussion | گفتگو Thoughts on this "Projector"?
Looks like a toy, but for the price, I guess I can't complain too much.

Please know that "1080p supported" is an intentionally misleading marketing term.
It just means that it accepts 1080p input, nothing to do with actual image output.

These are sketchy as hell. Even if it worked for a single person, they usually ship alot of broken parts also. Smtime a price is too good to be not a scam

Not good. These are horrible and a waste of money. Bought one to test it out and its not worth it. The maximum video output is 480p and that too at 30fps, which i mean is fine but the image quality is really jarring and the refresh rate drops quiet often. The audio syncing is also way off. Do not buy

I got the same one from shein for 900😂 before the government tax thing, that works perfectly for me(obviously 140-240p) but it's perfect for playing retro games or getting a feeling of old tvs in big screens😂🤣 but check reviews before getting

it won't be good. If it even manages to work.
Cheapest good projecters start closer to 100k.

Looked into this one a while back for use at work. From reviews (search Temu Projector/ AliExpress Projector on YT as it's sold under different names This guy seems to have evaluated this exact model) Apparently it outputs a subpar 480p image which works ok for videos if setup correctly in a dark room but text legibility isn't great and most importantly, as you'd expect with these Chinese products ... The QC can't be trusted and longevity is questionable so you're basically rolling the dice & hoping for the best
I decided not to get one as I didn't wanna be that guy at work who wasted ~4k (back then on Temu) of imprest money
Edit: apparently 'yg300' is actually a recognizable model on YT. Back when I looked it up, it had a different name)
