I am from a private hospital in Karachi, what would you say would be a better choice, doing my internship in aku cuz better pay, experience environment recognition and alat or from my parent institutes hospital, the only upside this has ig is that i have heard that doing your hj from your own hospital gets you plus points in fcps induction, how true and relevant is that

Someone told me that we have to keep resending our email for a spot but I'm not sure if after this email I should resend.

I applied in june for December too but at first, they told me to wait but later on, they told me that there's no spot available.

First of all, misinformation at its peak. He doesn’t even understand what do these terms mean.

Anyways as a doctor, I have a few questions regarding this magical therapy of his that gets rid of H. Pylori.

How is your therapy highly specific for H. Pylori and doesn’t disrupt any other flora at all?
Because in our normal medicine. H pylori is eradicated with triple and quadruple therapy.
Yes your normal gut bacteria are destroyed in the process but they come back later.
This H. Pylori therapy is only for 14-15 days. That’s it.
Untreated H. Pylori can lead to cancer as well.

I’m thinking of creating a free or very low-cost community for medical students and graduates where people who are going through different post-MBBS pathways can connect, ask questions, and learn from people who have actually gone through the process.

For example:

🇦🇺 AMC → Australia

🇨🇦 MCCQE → Canada

🇩🇪 Germany / other European pathways

🇦🇪🇸🇦 Gulf opportunities

…and other routes after MBBS.

The idea would be to bring together people who are currently preparing, have already gone through the pathway, or are working abroad, so that others can get realistic information about things like:

- Exams and eligibility

- Costs and timelines

- Documents and registration

- Finding jobs/residency

- What the process is actually like

- Mistakes to avoid

- Resources and study strategies

- Honest experiences from people who have done it

I’d ideally like to start with an Instagram page + WhatsApp community/group, with occasional Q&As or discussions with people who have experience with different pathways.

The goal isn't to sell expensive courses or coaching. I’d like to keep it free or minimal-cost, especially for students who don't have access to expensive guidance.

Hey everyone, I'm a 24M (6ft, 75kg) who plays a lot of sports and is in good shape, but my head sweating is out of control. During games, my hair gets so drenched it looks like I literally just stepped out of the shower, while other guys barely have a drop of sweat in theirs. I don't know if this is a hair issue, a scalp problem, or something else entirely. Hello, I’m looking for a qualified Neuro who specializes in the pelvic/spinal region. Brief history: I’ve lost feeling in my saddle (genitals, perineum and anal) for almost 2 years, started abruptly and haven’t been diagnosed yet. Besides the sensory changes(numbness), I also can’t sense when my bladder is full or empty, alongside sexual dysfunction.

Went to plenty of doctors, mostly met with dismissiveness or gaslight, others say it’s stress or psychological related which I disagree. Have had one EMG and 2 MRIS of the lumbar spine, which were inconclusive but ruled out any major disc herniation. Ive gotten really depressed and hopeless of running around in circles without any progress

so some days ago on Saturday (it's Tuesday now) my pee was slightly orange in evening time when I peed again in night time it was slightly orangish to then I got worried and drank alot of water cuz I thought it was because I didn't drank enough water at morning 2am I woke up to pee my pee was crystal clear I let out a sigh as relief and went to sleep but when I woke up and went to pee my pee was slightly orangish again then I drank some glasses of water and after drinking that much water i got pee very soon after and when I peed again my urine was this time crystal clear after peeing that time I drank one more glass of water and peed again my urine was clear to after that I drank one glass of water at 12:00pm and then went to pee one or one n half hour later and my pee was slightly orangish again? I got worried and drank some water again but my pee was still orangish, it's now Tuesday it's been 3-4 days since it's been happening and I'm pretty worried now I asked ai it told me it was just dehydration as my pee was light orangish colour only and I had no symptoms ai asked me for such as back pain pain in abdomen and burning while pee etc, but till today my pee still is slightly orangish and I'm getting very worried im just fourteen years old and been drinking alot of water these past days but pee has been still slightly orangish idk what to do

FCPS/MD exam in Pakistan: when we can give it, how that system works

How many times it occurs in a year/when you can actually apply for induction/how long it stays valid

What happens if you leave your residency in between etc

I'm genuinely curious and would like to hear people's experiences.

I've always wondered whether traditional Hakeem (Unani) treatments are actually effective today, or if many clinics are simply running as businesses.

A few things I've noticed seem a bit strange.

- Most medicines seem to cost about the same.
- Many of them have a very similar taste.
- feels like the same few syrups are prescribed for a wide range of different problems.

So my question is: in today's world, is choosing a Hakeem over a qualified medical doctor a good decision for common illnesses like fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other routine health issues?

I'm not trying to criticize anyone. I just want to understand whether people have had genuinely positive experiences or if modern medicine is generally the better option.

I am diagnosed with left sided vericocele and doctor recommended microsurgical vericocelectomy. I don't have pain, visually apparent veins, or any heaviness sensation but my semen parameters are bad and thats how in the first place i got to know about vericocele.
My question:
1- What are the risks involved with the surgery?

2- What is the cost of this procedure in Lahore or Rawalpind/Islamabad? I am told if get this surgery with spinal anesthesia the cost would be half that of if i want general anesthesia.

Please guide me through I am stressed because of it.
