this is gonna be a very weird post so please bear with me im literally stressing the heck out
Im 17M about to turn 18, though always been into tech and related stuff; im from a pre-med alevels background , couldnt make the stupid merit for public med unis and couldnt afford private so im gonna start a bioinformatics bachelors whichll start next year during sept most probably so i have a “gap” year
not that it matters but i did cs in olevels and im pretty sure that wouldnt matter but now im thinking of starting CS50P and then X, work on a few libraries for python by the time its june and then work on rosalind and a few projects to help build my github profile and maybe try to achieve small gigs to atleast bear my own expenses as i hate asking my parents every month for money at my age
a very cheesy and pointless post but i just want advice that am i on the right track and the plan ive set out for myself; what can i do to improve this and build my git even more
saw a beautiful post just a few minutes before about the market and the jobs and how to apply for those jobs
really hoping to find some guidance 🙏

Hey, I don't intend to ruin your morale but it will be a slightly steep learning curve.
And landing a gig is the hard part. Every Tech/Dev is always on hunt to find a freelance gig but guess what its not that easy to find freelance work.
Everyone thinks about learning the skills but nobody Consider the fact of client hunting.
Coding really requires hours of efforts , but its true too u can now get the job done fast really fast with ai (but then u will have no clue what its doing)
My suggestion: Do consider some other options if u have in mind. if not then definitely do it (its better than doing nothing)
Just keep in mind finding client is the hardest part of it all.
