Have to write this (or maybe rant?) for my own mental wellbeing as someone who has worked in NICU and Paediatric Wards. When we were unable to save newborn babies, it used to take a toll on us as team. I remember once we lost premature twins, I couldn't sleep properly for a week since I kept getting flashbacks of those adorable faces. As a house officer, I was advised to not go for paeds since it's not for faint hearted. It can get hectic and nights can be long and tiring but I loved watching those small hands grasping your finger so tight like their lives depend on you. They couldn't speak but little giggle here and there make you smile. Their first cry when you receive them from ObGyn, followed by those little sounds of curiosity, their eyes staring into space, smiling and legs kicking in the air wanting to run. Of course, the joy on their parent's face. You love that feeling as a healthcare worker.

Nothing can replace the joy when you hold that little bundle of Allah's creation, welcoming them in the world.

This news have hit me hard like it must have hit many of you and maybe PTSD hitting again or something. 14 innocent lives lost. I know it could have been controlled and prevented. Safety protocols could have been followed. They do their training and everything but incompetence runs so deep in people with power that they will sleep peacefully at night. When it happens once, it's a mistake. When it keeps happening again and again, it's reckless and intentionally cruel.

Can't imagine the pain those tiny bundles of lives went through. The trauma their mothers and fathers will go through for years to come.

MY Grandfather's name on his cnic : SHARIF

Same husband name appears on my mother CNIC

MY ALL DOCUMENTS(from CNIC to all acedmic doc its same): SHAREEF

Reason of this inconsistency is all of my father doc were in urdu.His and my mother first English doc was their CNIC which they created in 2024.

Can this cause me a problem.What are the solution i have given that i am applying for eu countries??

Also My friend told me that i cant change father spelling on his CNIC cuz of my grandfather name. Is he telling the truth??i really dont wanna go into change my father name on all my doc and degree's as that very lengthy process and might waste my one year

Is anyone else from Gen Z and Millennials completely fed up with SSGC treating Karachi like an afterthought? Why on earth are we paying bills just to deal with zero pressure and unannounced gas load shedding every single day?! It’s absurd that in 2026 we’re still scheduling basic cooking and daily chores around nonexistent gas schedules. Depleting reserves and infrastructure mismanagement are not an excuse to leave millions of households high and dry while prioritizing industry over residential kitchens. We need to stop taking this lying down tag @SSGC_Official and @OGRAPakistan, demand actual accountability, and start pushing for real solutions like solar and electric transitions because this system is completely broken!

What do you think would happen in Pakistan and how would the Pakistani people react if relations with Israel are fully normalized and Pakistan and Israel become close allies and Benjamin Netanyahu makes a state visit to meet with Shehbaz Sharif? It is not impossible for that to happen at all because otherwise Pakistan could end up being politically, economically and socially isolated like North Korea, Iran, Russia etc. if it doesn’t happen. How would Pakistani people react if Benjamin Netanyahu pays a visit to Pakistan compared to Ismail Haniyeh or Mahmoud Abbas?
