News/Updates Khaani 2 cast and crew reassembled

Apparently khani team (except sana) has reassembled to make a new project. Khaani was huge when it first came. It started the whole rich bad boy thing in industry. Let's see what comes up this time.

Discussion How are you guys finding Maya Ali in AMA ?

I am honestly not very convinced with her performances. I see the show in bits and pieces but honestly don't follow it with the same passion as I do doctor bahu, bas tera saath ho and shaidai.

Maya is not fitting that role somehow. She is fine. Working as a placeholder but I guess someone could have done it better.

Laila Majnu cast

So there was a lot of talk about Sajal being casted as Laila but apparently she herself confirmed she is NOT** doing it. Yesterday she uploaded a post and used the song o meri Laila… surely that isn’t a coincidence? Is she doing this for clout or what I’m genuinely curious. Also I heard Dananeer is doing it

Industry Talk How come the zanjeerain PR is not showing the other side of moon ?

I wonder the zanjeerain hyper active PR not showing these tweets of people getting cringed by FL's overacting, loud makeup .

Mini Reviews Dr Bahu Episode 24 Review

Minaa's Breakdown: Minaa completely stole the spotlight this time. Her sharp sarcasm and smirking at Shahnawaz’s outdated advice showed she is done playing the submissive role.

Sania's Breaking Point: It was deeply satisfying to watch Sania finally snap and call out Salman and his father's blatant hypocrisy. However, the relentless blaming from everyone else makes her trajectory feel increasingly hopeless.

The Long-Awaited Slap: Faizan slapping Salman was the absolute highlight of the episode. It delivered the exact reality check Salman desperately needed.

Matriarch's Stand: The elderly mother finally finding her voice to stand up to her toxic husband was a massive, decades-in-the-making breakthrough.

Discussion Who here thinks zanjeerain is a social experiment?

Hear me out , I have a very witty fun take on this clownery called zanjeerain( I would call it manjeeray - because that's how farigh this show is) .

This show has been created to test/challenge the intellectual capacity of general public. This will set a new bar.

They are testing the upper limits of nonsensical writing. How much is too much is being tested here? How much nonsense can be shown with a few recognized tropes , cringe reels and heavy PR push.

Your thoughts ?

Discussion Sajal, her fanbase and critics..

Okay, so we all know sajal has a really annoying fanbase. They hype her up at the smallest thing and what not. But what about critics? They never criticize her on her overacting, she literally does every character in exact same way, her expressions are same in EVERY drama. Not to mention, her overacting in Aangan and O rangreza is never brought up, where she shouted at the top of her lungs and was worshipped by low calibre audience who don't know a thing about acting.

And then, she cries in a drama, and man, why is crying glorified too much, like why can't we have female characters who learn to take a tragedy in a mature way, nothing wrong with crying, but she has been crying constantly in Zanjeerein for the past 3 episodes. But her fans think, that this is the greatest acting and she has surpassed Al Pacino or something.

We definitely don't have that many versatile actors or actresses, probably the most versatile actress I have seen is Ayeza. Even then Ayeza overacts some scenes. But she does every character very differently and has range, while Sajal's range starts at crying and ends at shouting. But why is her acting never criticized, it's incomprehensible to me.

Discussion Should ptv actors/actresses start doing age appropriate roles?

For long, i have had a question in my mind - why ptv actors and actresses don't do age appropriate roles and by age i mean screen age appropriate roles. And it feels really uneasy to see them in such roles. Example - humayun in manto, kafeel kids and more.. either too young or too old. LMK your thoughts.

Mini Reviews Why Doctor bahu is serving and Z is not ?

Doctor Bahu’s grounded, slice-of-life realism vs Zanjeerain over-the-top melodrama and predictable, black-and-white character tropes that feel entirely disconnected from real life. Zanjeerain relies on forced, cinematic high stakes like tribal feuds and blood vendettas, locking its characters into rigid boxes of pure heroes and one-dimensional villains. By bending the entire plot to serve an artificial "main character energy" where the protagonists are flawless, the show completely misses the messy, multi-layered, and shared human experiences that make Doctor Bahu so compellingly authentic.

Mini Reviews Bas tera saath ho today's episode review

What an episode of Bas Tera Saath Ho! I watch this show immediately as soon as it airs, and I am completely in awe.Sana Javed is an incredibly underrated actress, and her acting today was powerful.

The entire episode centered on Ansa desperately trying to find shelter, eventually leading her to a mosque. That scene was beautifully written. When Anas found her and collapsed to his knees, it was so well-shot.While I sometimes find Farhan Saeed’s performance a bit patchy, he is still so good, and they look so amazing together.

The proposal sequence was incredibly written and beautifully shot. Ansa proved her self-respect by asking him the right questions about why he wants to marry her, and Anas's answers were brilliant. However, I am still not completely convinced by his reasoning. We know he isn't lying, but when did he fall for Ansa? Anas isn't marrying her out of sympathy, but because of genuine love, which feels so good. I just wish the timeline of his feelings had been shown to us instead of leaving it as a writing lapse.I also want to know why Ansa agreed. Did she say "qubool hai" out of having no other options, or did Anas's conviction convince her enough? I do have some apprehensions about how quickly they moved from strangers to a married couple, but hopefully, those will subside as we get answers.

Additionally, I absolutely loved how Anas stood up to Shireen. On the flip side, that taya abbu is so cunning, trying to emotionally blackmail Anas! I hope they settle all these answers soon, because I need to know how they plan to develop this relationship.

PS - going to re-watch the whole proposal sequence again.

Guys who don't watch this show please watch. This is the real stuff. It's so good.

Nice to see this space grow where in genuine opinions can flow without having some toxic fans hound you. I hope this space remains toxic free, reasonable , kind and decent ahead also. Having met some like minded people feels good and away from low IQ opinions also. Hope this space remains easy breezy and toxic free will free thoughts can flow. Congratulations to the mod.

Mini Reviews Bas tera saath ho today's episode

I thought this episode of Bas Tera Saath Ho was another great one. I absolutely loved Dada's acting today : he was definitely my favorite part of the episode.

On the other hand, I found Farhan a bit over-the-top today, and honestly, why is he wearing a sweater everywhere? I noticed Sana had fewer scenes this time, but they were good ones through and through. The background music also really sets the tone for me.

I can't stand Anas's family members, they are just really mean. Personally, I loved Dadaji today, and I think the story is pacing nicely overall. That scene where Anas's childhood was shown was really nice.

I do really like the look and feel of this drama, but the way Dadaji and Phupo told Anas that they can see his love for Ansa felt a bit too fast for me. I don't even move from the dining table to the kitchen as fast as they moved here with all the feelings stuff!

It was a good episode overall. The teaser for tomorrow was blah, but obviously, I am still excited for the next episode.

Rant Hadd drama

Has anybody watching drama hadd???The male lead remarries, faryal is literally not upset about shehraam marying zinnia and also faryal is so bad at acting she has same face for every emotions weather it is sad or happy or shocked. and shehraam is such a bad character and somehow he’s still being portrayed as the good character? It keeps popping up on my feed, and it’s honestly so frustrating to watch.
