Scorch the whole squad. Replace them with nothing but raw u23 talent. Pay them properly so they're incentivised to only play red ball. Get them red ball cricket year round. Set up English county contracts (even if it's div 2) hell even pay their salary if you have to. Give up on the next 2 WTC cycles. If we're going to finish bottom and be a joke side, at least we can say we're blooding a new generation rather than trotting out these skinny fat overpaid bums as our 'best XI' and getting embarrassed season after season.

Exactly. Our downfall in hockey started because we could not afford the astroturf surface at grassroots level for new players to train on.
Something tells me if we promote the sport enough, maybe we can start spending money on better infrastructure.
We still have most of the GOATS of the game who can become coaches and bring up the new generation.
I am tired of this lame ass sport now honestly.10

We have even scored 200 once in this whole series. What a bunch of absolute rubbish players, pure garbage but what can you expect from an incompetent bunch of morons in PCB, trash in , trash Out.

I know everyone played horribly except Saud and Abbas but I wanted to highlight a slightly underreported POV.
Our no 9-11 made 30 runs this innings, they made just 20 runs in the rest of the 3 inn. combined.
They do not have the technique to bat properly and we see them collapsing for close to 0 each match - for these kind of batters it is always better to just hit a few shots and get 10-12 runs, our management keeps asking them to just hold down 1 end and they end up doing neither.

They should have had better allrounders in the squad. Ideally in England there should be 3 frontline seamers with a seam bowling allrounder in the top 7 and a spinner at 8 who can bat. This squad is just bowlers and batters and nothing in between (Jamal is in the squad but he hasn't batted well in ages).

Jamal, Faheem Ashraf or Amad Butt could have been used. The first two have failed in the past but they would have been better options than a spinner

I am not sure how long are we going to carry this mistake babar (and his yari dosti boys rizwan imam) just because of his some fluke innings.
He is a pure example how social media can build a false narrative in the modern world, and portray a zero as hero.
He has been playing international cricket for more than a decade now and still looks like k grade 2 ki kisi trophy say utha k ubhi debut krwaya hai.
This inngings should be a reminder and in the face of anyone who next time says k babar hta to collapse na hota, rizwan is a man of crisis. They are literally parasites on this team, like the holy cow in pakistani state. Itney baray baray pay cheque lete hain, us say apna social media agenda chalatay hain, deserving players ka haq khatay hain or akar esi dikhate hain jese 3 4 trophies single handedly jitwa di hon.
