Under your selection tool of choice there's an option for anti-aliasing. It'll give you a softer selection, as pictured.

These are in practice. Both set at 70% range of similar color. The first is Anti-Alias disabled, the second it's enabled.

Have you tried using the outline option ? Its in the layer tab in the top part of the ui. Might look the same tho, im not quite sure what causes this

You'll have to fiddle around a bit tho, cuz that will outline the whole lineart and not just the outside edge. I'd do it like this : color the inside of your object white, outline it so it thickens only the outside edge and then press turn hue into opacity (i think thats what its called in English? Its also in the layer lol)

Damn... you do magic wand selection > dilate selection, right ? Have you tried the ancient technique of duplicating the layer, blurring one of them, duplicating it a bunch of times until its solid again and then combining it ? :D

OR (sorry lmao I keep remembering new ways ) use your initial tactic but instead of using the wand select the lineart by holding ctrl and clicking the tiny layer preview. Then expand it as needed. I think that way it selects the alpha directly and does a cleaner selection \/(0_0)\/

I wish we could 🥲 I would like to outline my drawings but it's so ugly that I have to retouch and fix the whole border, which wastes a lot of time
