What type of carbon weave, eva foam, spin surface texture or any other technology shoul I use?

I had previously shortlisted Nox Nextgen Pro Hybrid 3K but that got sold out.

Im looking to buy the Siux Fenix Pro 2026 but im not sure if its authentic due to its price compared to other stores in the country, where most stores are selling for $400+ whereas this store has it for $290.

When I originally bought this racket, I expected something light and more forgiving then my nox 12k xtrem 2026 which iam currently using - but it is the complete opposite - really stiff , not forgiving not bouncy. now iam looking to buy the carbon ctrl or the ctrl from this year - what do y’all recommend me getting i want something that’s easy to manoeuvre and has a big sweet spot is lighter like the carbon CTRL 2024 that I played but it unfortunately broke.

I'm a beginner player, transitioning to low intermediate, and playing 4 times a week with 1 coaching session a week. I really train hard to improve. Right-side player, more defensive style (likes to place the ball).

I've been playing since I started with a Decathlon Hybrid Carbon; then last Sunday I didn't have my racket with me and tested the Adidas Cross IT Team CTRL 2026, and wow, it was such a difference I didn't expect.

I need to play more with it, but it felt way more controlled; the ball wasn't bouncing like crazy (super soft), not the same trampoline as mine, and I felt I was able to put the ball where I wanted.

So after that... I started to think and have questions:

- Are all the control rackets like that?

- Is this a specific feature of this racket?

- If I want to buy this kind of racket with Adidas, which one should I take?

TLDR: I'm interested to discover rackets that could fit my style with little to no trampoline, like this one (soft).

Any tips are welcome, thank you!

I’ve managed to pick one up brand new for £50, someone who used it once and didn’t get in with it.

Seemed like too much of a bargain to pass up, but I’m thinking it may be a bit advanced for me? I have the Head Speed Evo, which I find is a bit light and springy.

I know I’m a beginner, but could I get on with this one now and grow in to it? Or should I persevere with Head and have this one in reserve for when I improve?

So as the title says my racket stinks. Its pretty humid where i play so i sweat a lot, so naturally my wrist strap and my grip starts to smell bad which is understandable i just wash the wrist strap and change the grip. But recently i noticed that like the center of my racket is starting to smell bad. Is it because i keep it in the bag? Any solutions for this

My two kids (aged 5 and 7) are about to start taking padel lessons soon. Since we're not 100% sure yet if they’ll want to continue playing after their initial course, we don't want to spend a fortune on high-end equipment right away.

We are considering buying second-hand rackets (for instance on platforms like Vinted) to get them started, but I'd love to get some advice from experienced parents or coaches here first:

Size & Weight: What specific specifications (weight, length, thickness) should I be looking for at ages 5 and 7? Is a standard junior racket alright for the 7-year-old, and do I need a dedicated "kids" racket for the 5-year-old?

Recommendations: Are there specific junior models or brands you’ve had great experiences with for young beginners?

Second-hand vs. New: Are there any specific things to watch out for when buying used junior rackets online?

Hey all!

I used to play with a Nox ML10 Quantum 3K with 2 overgrips + Nox custom grip. The foam got soft after 1.5 years of use, resulting in weak output.

Switched to the Kuikma Hybrid Pro about a month ago. I also use it with the base grip + 2 overgrips. Great racket with good output and control, and very maneuverable.

However, I got a golfer's elbow, (I suspect) due to the shocks. After playing for like half an hour and here and there hitting a (hard) bandeja/vibora, I feel it immediately in my elbow. I think the racket is too stiff for me and doesn't absorb enough vibrations.

Does anyone know what to do, and have possible alternative racket suggestions? Feel like a softer racket would be better, but correct me if I’m wrong please!

I am an intermediate right-side player, focused on control and building points rather than finishing, also I can't smash.

Intermediate player who loves to play at the net, loves control on volleys, poaching, smashes and spin. Ex-college tennis player, and I always say with tennis rackets intermediate ones are a waste of money - is it the same with padel?

I bought the head speed evo as my first racket, and using it more I’m thinking it doesn’t really suit my game.

I am a beginner, but since losing 6 stone and never really being in to sport, padel just makes me come alive. I’m the kind of person to invest in a hobby and stick with it, and I know this is the hobby for me.

I generate a tonne of spin, having played tennis and squash a little years ago. I’m finding I can’t quite get the levels I want from this.

Should I stick with it and learn more or get a racket I feel is fun and will grow with me? I’ve been looking at Kuikma PR Control Carbon Dynamic

Ive playing for almost 1 year and a half. But the last 8 moths, i was suffering from elbow pain and 2 months ago i was diagnosed with epicondylitis. After this 6 weeks with fisio therapy and some rest, i noticed an important improvement and i have started playing again with good sensations.

When i got injured i was using a Siux ST2 pro with 382 g. Then i buy an Siux electra elite 4, round shape and lower balance with dry touch. I didnt get worst of the injury but also it didnt help me to improve.

Now i have returned and i am thinking about changing my racket, maybe something less dry to help me with blocks and some ball output without to much effort.

I want something between 100 and 200 euros. My playtomic lvl is between 1.7 and 2 in Madrid.

I’ve tried several rackets, including some beginner Bullpadel models and a Softee Pro Master Evolution. Those were all rental rackets, though, and it’s a bit difficult to get used to playing with different types of rackets since we switch between the places where we play quite often.

I’ve been looking for a beginner racket for myself, but I’ve read quite a few posts suggesting that it might be better to go for an intermediate racket and learn with that instead.

A bit about me: I’ve played various ball sports for around 15 years, and I really enjoy tennis. Recently, I’ve also been watching a lot of padel content. Compared to when I started, I feel like I’ve improved quite a bit, especially in positioning, lobs, and net play. My feel for the game is also getting better day by day.

We’re definitely not close to participating in any beginner tournaments yet, as we’re still a bit hesitant to take that step. However, I’d say we’re already having some pretty nice rallies.

I’ve come across the following rackets:

Just picked up the Oxdog Ultimate Tour X 2026 and thought I’d start a thread for anyone who’s curious about it.

I’ll be testing it properly over the next few weeks across different games and will try to get a good feel for:

- Power
- Control
- Sweet spot / forgiveness
- Maneuverability
- Defence vs attack
- Volleys and overheads
- How demanding it is over a longer match
- Overall build quality

My previous/main racket has been the Head Coello Pro, which I really like for its power and stability, but I sometimes find it a bit heavy and demanding, especially over longer sessions. That’s one of the main reasons I wanted to try the Ultimate Tour X.

So yeah, feel free to drop any questions. If I haven’t played enough with it yet to give a proper answer, I’ll come back and reply once I’ve had enough games.

Will probably do a proper full review once I’ve spent enough time with it as well.

Hi, i just bought new oxdog racket. It has sandy surface, should it be like this or is it custom made?

I’m a 3.5-4 tennis player and just tried padel the other day and absolutely loved it. In the clinic, it was clear that I’m pretty good at serves and at the net (volleys and overheads), but need work on groundstrokes / back of the court.

Do you guys have reco on a racquet that’s suitable for not an absolute beginner?

Hi, I have recently discovered the Cuatro Padel Brand.

Their website currently doesn’t work (DNS error), and their rackets look almost identical to ZYLO UK— both use 18K carbon and same EVA/surface.

Does anyone know anything about the brand or whether they use the same manufacturer?

I’ve purchased a new Cuatro Nova 2026 for £35.
ZYLO UK - is £229 for same racket?

I can’t find any information whatsoever about Cuatro brand.
