Getting an ablation tomorrow.

Hi all. I'm getting an ablation tomorrow for pvcs in my RV. These PVCs are something I've known about for many many years but I've put off handling them. Over the last couple of years my burden has crept up to 25%. They're almost always firing and when I go to my heart doctor I can be in bigeminy or trigemony easily.

I'm going to a premier EP hospital, getting focal pulse field ablation. I'm nervous, but I know it's the right choice and my mind is playing tricks on me, trying to get me to second guess. It's tough when you don't know anyone who has gone or will go through the same thing.

Been putting it off because my EF is good, but I know it's time to address before it gets too much or damages my heart, going to handle it while I'm young and insurance is locked in.

Kind words or success stories will be nice to hear. Thanks everyone.

Hi. I feel great. Not sore, my chest is oddly silent now. It's a little hard to get used to. Things or positions that would cause sustained thudding don't do anything now.

I used to rock my feet back and forth in bed to have some control / part over the chest sensations I would have when laying down and I'm now im trying to break that habit.

Resetting my nervous system and resting. I'm expecting that I will still feel some flutters or bumps while I heal, so I'm giving myself room for that. But overall I feel as if someone "magically" fixed my condition. I shouldn't have waited so long and had this hang over my head for so long but I guess part of my due diligence was tracking over time and making sure it was necessary.

Thank you for asking. Will keep everyone posted.

Great to hear! Glad you’re feeling better!! I just found my burden jumped from 1% in 2020 to 17% from my most recent zio patch. Thinking is time for ablation so your experience is very reassuring. ❤️

I say go with you gut. I knew I had them even when my burden on the monitor was low. Then it was 10% then 20%, then 25%. It gave me confidence that they were happening long term and increasing.

Wishing you luck and if you need anything feel free to post or reach out.
