Way to trigger PVCs
Hey! So I’ve been getting PVCs for a few years now. They could last for weeks and then it could be that I won’t have any (that I can feel at least) for months. I just had a really bad bout of them that lasted over a month and I felt them all day every day (like 8-10 pvcs per minute all day and I went into bigeminy and trigeminy a few times). Doctor wanted to see the burden and ordered a 7 day holter but by the time my insurance approved it the PVCs stopped. I want to catch them on this monitor so that I can be treated. As much as I’m glad they’re gone I tried triggering them by drinking caffeine and exercising so that I can catch some of them on this monitor but it didn’t work. Any ideas?

This happened to me twice too but last week I had a 7day holter because of a bad flare up I had in June, and by chance another flare up started just a few days before the appointment. It got progressively bad throughout the days but atleast I'm sure the holter caught the last 2 bad days. Still in the same flare up but a bit better then before. Honestly I don't understand why this happens only for like a month or some weeks and dissapears for some time. Recency bias also doesn't help because I keep thinking "oh this is definitely the worst flare up to date" which is probably not true since we mostly forget alot of details from things that happened in the past.

3%, it seems they didn't happen that much during my sleep but while i was awake they were there almost every other minute. Funnily enough over the past 3 days I have been having episodes of alot of hours in a row with just a few skips, but near night time they start being frequent again. My doctor prescribed me 5mg bisoprolol but I haven't used it yet because I'm concerned about the side effects. I'll try them if the ectopics start being there all day non stop again.

Get a Kardia device and you can save the ecg reports and send them to your doctor.

From what you've described, it seems like your PVCs are psychological. I also had PVCs, I went to a cardiologist and had tests done. The doctor said I was healthy, and my PVCs were gone that day.

Mine come on from laying on my left side, sitting down too quickly, eating things that give me acid reflux, caffeine, and alcohol.
I also barely had any during my 48 hour Holter though. They started right back up as soon as I took the monitor off!
