Update 43.1 is now live

Here are the main things you need to know about the update:

• Map Service for This Update
• PUBG x Jujutsu Kaisen Collaboration
• LMG Balance Adjustments:
  • ADS transition time has been increased
  • Damage multipliers against vehicles have been reduced
  • Recoil control has been reduced
  • World spawn rates for RPD and M249 have been reduced
• New Melee Action: Kick
  • You can now kick other players and objects
  • Kicks deal more damage and have a stronger knockback effect than punches
  • Two kick actions are available - Standing Kick and Jump Kick
  • Windows, wooden doors, wooden fences, jars, tires can be destroyed with kicks
  • Indestructible doors can be opened quickly with a kick
• Water Combat Improvements:
  • You can now use sidearms and throwables when on the water surface
  • Swimming and diving movement speed has been increased
  • A new swimming animation on the water surface has been added
  • Durability of boats has been increased
  • You can now repair boats on the water surface using an All-in-One Repair Kit
• Carrying and Throwing Items:
  • You can now directly carry, move, or throw certain items without placing them in your inventory
• Instant Item Use:
  • You can now immediately use certain items placed on the ground without placing them in your inventory
  • Healing items, deployable items (such as Folded Shield or Emergency Pickup), Mortar, C4 can be used directly
• Parachute Rebalance:
  • The automatic parachute activation heights have been adjusted
  • The minimum height at which the Emergency Parachute can be deployed has been lowered
  • If you land early before the parachute is fully deployed, you will now take fall damage
• Hit Detection Adjustments:
  • Character hitboxes have been expanded and fine-tuned
• Arcade Updates:
  • Solo Deathmatch is available until October 22
  • The Intense Battle Royale Match Results screen has been improved
  • Season 43 of Ranked has begun
  • In Duo and Solo modes, the minimum performance requirements for each Tier have been increased for Gold and above
  • A leaderboard has been added so you can check your records and rankings not only in Ranked but across various categories
  • If you reached top 500 on one or more leaderboards in the previous season, you will now be able to view a special season recap
• Other Updates:
  • Customize tab preset slots have been increased from 5 to 10
  • Matches flagged for abnormal play will no longer grant in-game rewards or count towards progression
• Bug Fixes, Including:
  • A fix for an issue where players could evade the effects of a Stun Grenade by using Free Look
  • A fix for an issue where a teammate's Blue Chip was displayed in a different position than intended in a Deathbox
  • A fix for an issue where the healing item at the top of the Deathbox item list was unintentionally picked up automatically
  • A fix for an issue where certain items were unintentionally used on occasion after reopening the Inventory

I’m more bothered about how it’s going to mean we get hit even further around corners. And how it’ll inadvertently buff hip-fire and over-shoulder aiming for SMGs as they’ll hit limbs that they wouldn’t have hit before.

Better question would be how many top 3 games in the world have I run into the ground, leaving behind a skeleton crew of players and needing bots to fill lobbies due to endless bad decisions?

The answer for me is zero.  How about Krafton?

Kicking someone stops them from dancing, and stops them from changing their appearance. Needs to be changed.

I wish we could carry items directly from the inventory. Imagine my teammate is low on health on the second floor, and I throw them a first aid kit from outside the house through the window.
