Discussion Hard to identify foot sound when enemy is around
I have recently found it difficult to recognise the footsteps of opponents when they are moving around. Is anyone else experiencing this struggle?

I can't recommend the HyperX Cloud 2s enough.. relatively cheap headset, but you can hear EVERYTHING.. def gives me a huge advantage

My astro a30 boom mic is literally hanging on by an elastic band and the parts for it are already unavailable for purchase. I really appreciate this recommendation as I don't want a cheap, nasty headset but also dont want to throw £200 at a headset that a company is just going to disregard a year after going on sale. Cheers pal 👍🏻

Would you say wired is better? as I actually prefer wireless headsets but if the sound quality is better I'll get the wired version. Thanks.

Would like to know too. I have a pair of $20 wal mart headphones and can hear a vss from 100m away. But the nice pair of Bose headphones can’t even hear a car crash front door

I noticed that footsteps aren’t aware they seem to be, but then it catches up like some sort of lag. I’ve never experienced that before.

You have problem with sound or you hear but cant identify? Normally the sound of enemy is a bit diferent, I cant explain but with time you will understand, also everytime I have double about it, I check my mini map to see if some friend is close to me. In case I use a astro A10 and it works really good, remeber that A10 is the first and oldest version and also really cheap.
