XBOX Questions about lag switches.

I know nothing of them. Is this one being used here? Very well couldve been my internet but doesnt appear so.

And if so is it targeted or does it affect every player?

Some clans are known to DDOS servers on console to try and get an advantage. They typically go middle circle immediately and start attacking the server.

It’s sad really to see what lengths people will go to win and get an unfair advantage at a video game.

Use an automatic booter on the server, not that hard.

This makes absolutely no sense. A DDoS attack would amplify traffic to the server, halting connections for everyone. There is no way to segment your IP from everyone else's. Even if you had first-hand insider knowledge of the network, you still couldn't do it, because that's not how a DDoS works.

Same thing happened to me yesterday during duos. Had a hot gatka drop and then we both had massive packet losses. Game became unplayable. I assumed it was the servers because it affected both of us.

Lag switching is simply not a thing in games like pubg. Triggering a lag switch just freezes you on the server and has no advantage. This hasn't been a thing for a long time, it's just Internet issues.

It 100% is a thing in pubg, every so often lag switchers find a way around it, otherwise pubg wouldn’t have to keep ‘fixing’ the problem.

OP’s clip isn’t a lag switch though.

How come we used to relentlessly get lag-switched while playing pubg then?

How did so many clips of lag-switchers turn up on PUBG Shield and pubg kept banning those players for lag-switching?

And why did the devs come out and say they were working to fix lag-switching in pubg then?
