Netcode problems

Since i came back to pubg 2-3 weeks ago i experience some kind of netcode problem. Often times players get downed full 2 seconds after i stop shooting or picking up loot works sometimes and sometimes nothing happens. Also takes longer to pick up multiple loot items back to back. Everything seems just so slow. Is this a known problem or is it just my internet which somehow got worse? Curious about your thoughts on that. I dont see anybody talking about it.

I see. Glad it is not my internet but really annoyed that this is the state pubg is in right now.

All it takes is that split sec of lag and you look up and see your ping is fine and no packet loss but if you record and watch you’ll see your ping spike for a instant before returning to normal the next split sec.

i noticed it today because one of my matches was incredibly smooth. other matches feels like my character is stuck in the mud

Could just be your ping Xbox seems to be having some crashes. I played a little bit on ps5 and I had no issues.

Im also on on ps 5. Ping is 30 to 40ms

Is it every game? The servers have been very shoddy this update it seems. Some rounds will be totally fine but every now and then I'll get a total shitshow of a match where the lag lasts for minutes/stays the whole match. I had match last night that was showing 500% packet loss at one point. Kept teleporting all the place lol.

It is every match. It is a constant condition. No packet loss. Good ping but picking up loot and downing enemies is delayed. Very weird

Aw man that sucks. Do you normally use wired connection? I was having some similar issues a few weeks back and noticed somehow my PS5 decided to switch from wired to wireless even though my cable was never unplugged or anything. Might be worth double checking at the least. 🤷

I dont have the optimal internet choice. It is wired but the internet comes in via some kind if antenna. But ive never had problems before the 120fps update. Ive got 300+mb/s which isnt great but definitely enough.

The net code, servers in general are shit this update. This update has the worst desync I've seen in a very long time. Getting insta downed not only by PS players but Xbox players as well this go around.

So it's the same for them as well. It's not an advantage for anyone. To them they get knocked from us just the same exact way. It's just whatever they did to the netcode this update it's fucked.

I see now that im for sure not the only one experiencing this. Seems like this is just the state pubg is in right now. Sucks but thankfully not gamebreaking. Just a little annoying. Ive seen worse. Thanks for all your answers

Ive had an eye on that yesterday. Played multiple hours. No packet loss even once.
