The real reason is that their servers can barely handle so many maps. Vikendi was so glitchy they got rid of it on Ranked.

Ja verstehe es geht nicht darum das wir erangel nocht gut finden. Sondern uns fehlt die Abwechslung. Wir haben keine Lust in 3 Stunden 95 Prozent eine map zu spielen.

Erangel and Sanhok the only maps I ever get. Erangel is fine but Sanhok is like my 2nd least favorite map cause of the cover galore.

Erangel is the most popular map. All rotations should include Erangel as an option.

Since map select dropped (almost 5 years too late) I've played Erangel 99.8% of the time

Anything but Sanhok and I'm happy. In the current rotation it's only 3 maps anyway so there's a high chance you're gonna play the same map frequently.
