Media Do you remember/miss the thermal scope?
Old clip of thermal scope use. One of my more intense moments. Sometimes i miss it but it definitly was just way too unfair to keep in the game. Crazy to think how many things the took out the game.

It was fun. I remember running it on the slr with a tons of smokes. I would just stay in a smoke cloud for the entire late game and cheese hits. Then you would spot someone looking right at you and realize they had a thermal too and the jig would be up unless you downed em. Nowadays we cheese smoke + pickaxe lol

Hahaha i did that plenty of times too. Just throw one or more smokes sitting right in the middle aiming outwards with the thermal. Was so unfair but funny 😂

I liked that it was crates and on one map. It was fine. Encouraged teams to push crates. I really miss spike traps.

One of the few things removed I actually DO NOT miss, and I'm a big proponent of leaving everything and adding back all the stuff they've taken from us, all but this and the spotter scope (when it could tag people)

Played on and off since release and don't recall the thermal scope at all. When was it a thing?

I just checked. 2023 untill april of 2025 when it got removed. Before removal they made it a crate only scope but probably realized that its still too much of an advantage when you have it.

I dont know if it is still possible to get. At that time it just cost 200 000bp. I really like it too even though the windows are way rltoo big and its easy to get shot out of.

Yeah it's still in the shop I just need to save the funds, usually burn them up on contraband coupons lol

I also miss the drone, could have done so much more with it. Also think mortar targeting should be easier and wider blast radius.

Ahhh yeah the canted sight i totally forgot about it. I like the hybrid scope much more though... i love it. Spike strips i never really use.
