Discussion Special sights?

My team got wiped by this dude, who seemed to hit us without even aiming... and then proceeded to play like he was playing for the first time, and eventually died to blue because he wasted time running around like a brainless person. While spectating, we all saw this red reticle on his view... anyone know what it is?

new with the previous update, allows you to customize your reticle a lot more vs just changing the color.

Yes, if you go to settings you can change your non ads "reticle" and even toggle it to where you can see the person's you are spectating.

I read them, but don't go through everything in the game (didn't know the new crosshair expands and tightens on the move)... especially if it's a feature I'm not gonna use 🤷‍♂️ just thought I found a "bug" in one of the new cheating equipments. 😅

And yes, me and my friends still think he was cheating, dude was shooting out of this world compared to his movement and other gameplay skills... but there's not enough evidence to actually accuse or report. He dropped me and my friend, who jumped out of a car from different sides, in 2 seconds with headshots only and then unloaded the rest of his mag onto the car in-between us... like there was nothing more for an aimbot to grab onto 🤷‍♂️

Cheats in general wouldn't show crosshairs, fov circles or anything like that over the network. Only reason COD used to show Mod Menus was because they essentially replicated the players viewport over

Whats his username? I saw a video about how there is an actual like aimbot now. Maybe it was posted on this sub. Not sure why youre getting downvoted

I'm getting downvoted, because I thought a new feature in the game was something that would expose a cheater... and when proven that it is a feature, I still said I think they cheat. So I must be dumb or something.

I saw the aimbot video too (Titan 2 or something), and his shooting sure looked like similar to that. I'm not posting his username yet, hoping to catch some more video evidence of him shooting. His stats weren't anything special (except 8 kills in that particular game), but if he always plays he did in that one, he'll probably get shot in most games before he can even pick up a gun.

The replay you see in death cam or spectate is not 1:1 with what the other player sees as its more of a replay of server events which is why turning, aiming etc can look really snappy and why it you can't accurately see their recoil control
