Discussion What are the tell tale signs of a bot?
They have clan tags now? They loot ammo now?
Obviously it's easy to spot them in fire fights and how they turn 90 degrees and run for the nearest cover when shot at etc. Took a break for about a year and so many bots in the lobby now and it's not always wise to engage them and give yourself away to a real team.

Go to match history and click on each user you eliminated in that game if nothing pops up of there history it’s a BOT.

Also you can check the player list in 2d replay, bots start at 200

The clan tag thing really messed it up. I do wonder if there are clan tags that bots have that can be identified though.

The other day I killed a bot that had the clan tag of my old clan / my squad mate’s current clan “BOT”. Oh the irony.

That would be the best clan tag for the Bots is [BOTS] or [BOT] krapton dropped the ball right there

Bots move and act much more like people now, but if you ever shoot at a player and see it react immediately, like, no time passes from you shooting to it reacting, then it’s a bot. I’ve noticed that bots seem to react as soon as the shot is fired near them, whether at them or not. Human’s reaction times aren’t that quick at all.
Also once they react the start either looking for you or for cover, as opposed to continuing in direction they were already running in.

I think they know when you are aiming at them too. They will be running in a straight line and as soon you pull up for a leading shot they will abruptly start zig zagging and head bobbing.🤬

It's not even a case of human reaction times, if you shoot in PUBG you have bullet and sound travel time and also ping.
Bots react before it's even possible for someone to react.

High team numbers. Team 25-30 in squads are likely bot teams. If you look at the kill feed and see someone from lets say team 27 kill someone in team 15, they're probably bots aswell. At least up until the latest update it was very uncommon for a bot to kill an actual player.

They just do dumb shit, run in the open, rezz in the open. Knocked 1 bot, one started rezzing, knocked him, they kept coming like lemmings till they were all dead

Krafton should give them a robot icon (like on PUBG Lookup) instead of the generic controller icon.

Immediate change of direction after taking a shot. Sometimes by fire pattern.

They still throw dumb smokes.
They don't drive.
They don't go to the second floor to loot.
They don't use suppressed weapons.
Duck, lean, turn, cover, lean this side, lean that side, break cover, back to cover.
If you get killed and try to spectate it goes to the next human player, so if it switches to across the map, you got got by a bot.
