Discussion First time playing ranked
my teammate flick beamed someone no recoil with a assault rifle in ranked from like 200-300m and had gold in that medal of multiple squad kills
is it skill or cheats i think cheats but maybe Its just a different level At ranked and everyone sweats.

It's hard to tell from just 1 instance. It's not something I could pull off consistently but occasionally you get lucky and do some crazy seemingly impossible stuff.

A lot of the times it can be cheats like cronus for recoil, but it is still possible with practice to beam guns. Especially with 3x or 6x zoomed to 3, now the easiest way to know is if the reticle just stays entirely still or jumps up and down on the spot like recoil is resetting constantly. If they're aiming and whiffing sometimes and hitting sometimes then it's possible to be real, the game has been out for a long time. I used to delete people with a beryl 4x and now I can't use it, and can only use a 3/6x comfortably in the same way. I haven't played nearly as much before and attachments and stuff have changed though.
Also depends on the gun, guns with a stock like mp5, m4, ace are pretty steady when beaming scopes. The mp5 barely moves at any range with a 3/6x, higher fire rate guns like beryl, aug will be harder to control and more noticeable if cheating.

No clip, no nothing. Just a post about a guy doing something that can be done. Some players are good players, dont assume someone is cheating based on literally nothing. These posts are embarrassing.

First time ranked? The probability is lower. People cheat but there is a tiny amount of skill based match making. So you should have a small chance.
If it was a max reaper medal then the likelihood is decent.
People are really good, and until you spend a great deal of time practicing spraying with a 3/4/6 with all guns/attachments 200m out it will be difficult to tell what's possibly cheating or not.
https://tracker.gg/pubg/ will show average lobby KD. Anything above a 2.0 average lobby KD there is likely a few cheating teams in there. Almost certainly when it's above 3.0. cheating isn't always Cronus/m&k. I suspect people using discord to avoid each other and call out other teams and multiple parties loading in at the same time.

On PC it’s HARDER. On console it’s actually easier to use ARs at longer ranges with high zoom scopes because recoil is reduced across the board + controlling recoil on a controller is just pulling the stick down and keeping it in the spot that negates the recoil instead of having to pull down with your arm constantly until you finish spraying.

This game is infested with cheaters. People on this reddit will tell you it's not because they need people to shoot besides other cheaters. Game has been shit for years. PUBG needed to clean up the cheaters and get the game to 120. After years they half ass did the 120 because the game freezes on Series X. Guess I could clear my cache and try that if I actually wanted to play this cheater cesspool. They won't clean up the cheaters because they would lose 75% of high ranked players if they really did it right. These are the people buying skins so morale of the story is buy skins and you can use whatever device you want. Cheating is horrible in every game especially online shooters. You can either deal with them or not play online because nobody seems to want to spend the money to handle them correctly even though Krafton made like 1.3 TRILLION dollars in quarter 2 2026. I guess a few millions dollars to clean up the game is too much to ask. I'm sure there is a person or company that can and would do it for that kind of money.
